took me quite awhile to realize the left trigger didn't pull it up so you could look down the sights. Felt like an idiot and kept shooting it off before I was close enough.

They patched xbox just as I was about to get my emergency airdrop, pissed me off. But no more javelin glitches.

Yup, the Javelin glitch was fixed I think. I ran into an enemy running around with a javelin, and for a split second I was like "ah shit" backed up, and just shot him anyway. Either he had martyrdom or they didn't fix it completely, because he dropped a grenade when he died.
and yeah the ACR rocks. I'm still leveling up but I can't wait to unlock it again. It's a nice anti-sniper.

there was some talk earlier about this kind of thing, and someone alluded that is was exclusive to PS3. If this is true, this is clearly not the case. I don't know for sure but it seems like this applies to PC. And, I don't know whether this is true. But, I definitely have this "issue" from time to time, where I clearly "hit" the enemy and should have killed him, but then I die. And, we had previously thought this was lag. Anyone else hear about this kind of thing?
After two weeks of exhaustive study, and pouring through thousands of lines of code, I have finally got the proof I need to bring this conspiracy to light. The programmers at Infinity Ward are good, but I'M better. Do not worry, all will make sense shortly...
Have you ever been playing MW2 and thought "that's not right, I shot him first!"? Maybe you ambushed an enemy from behind, blasted him with 5 rounds to the chest, and then he spins around shoots you once in the foot, and you die? Everyone blames lag. Well, it's NOT lag. It's something far worse, and it just may signal the end of "fair" gaming forever.
While investigating the recent claims, and going through the code of MW2, I made a discovery in one of the subroutines of the game AI. It's called "spfg.exe" (we'll call it SniperFrog since all will make sense just bear with me) and it's an AI subroutine that "evens" out the game by lending additional AI resources to a player, or by limiting the player in really cheap ways.
For example, you ever start playing really good, and suddenly you go on a death streak where you can't even barely MOVE without getting killed? You'll get slaughtered like 5 times in a minute? That's the SniperFrog program in action. Alternately, maybe you'll have been having a rough streak, and suddenly you'll go on an amazing killstreak and it feels like you can't do anything wrong? Again, SniperFrog.
The SniperFrog program is meant to "even" out the game. So that ALL players can feel like they're awesome at some points, even if that has to come at the expense of other players doing poorly. It's a plan by IW to sell more copies of the game. You CAN disable SniperFrog by going offline, SniperFrog is dependent on it's concious AI mainframe to work and it's only available online.

ive DEFINITELY seen this. sometimes Ill get spawned RIGHT NEXT to some guy (in free-for-all) and Ill get killed almost instantly, because I don't see him (I don't expect someone to be right there).
Basicaly its a kind of fairness thing where if you are doing realy well the game will automatically spawn you closer to enemies and if you come around a corner on a guy it makes your first anitial bullets not register so they have a chance to kill you.

even if there's some truth to it, it doesn't stop me from wanting to play it. 
I have felt this way about the FAMAS as well - sometimes it kills with 1 or 2 shots and other times it seems like I need 5-6 shots.

I don't want to believe this true but my online experiences tell me that it is. In most online games I am very consistent with only minor differences in how well I play yet in cod my games fluctuate to rediculous points. I have games where I go 20/8 and others where I'm 8/20 but very few where i'm 10/10 (my k/d is 1.00).
I have also experienced major changes in the FAMAS and M16A4, both three round bursts. One game they're one shot kills the next they require at least three shots. The game feels too volatile leading me to believe this system of helping/hindering players is true.

reading some more around, I'd say I'm 50/50 on this. I *FEEL LIKE* the game behaves weird sometimes with inexplicable responses, and those kind of things could be explained by something like this. But then you got the guys on here who get 80 kills and 4 deaths or whatever, they kind of nullify this theory don't they.

btw hope they'll release some new multiplayer maps soon... these are starting to get a bit tiring... although there are a few I really love (Favela, Airport, and that Western movie kind of city with the swampy river... to name a few)

played against some cheaters who were using aimbot, there was no way that all his kills on our whole team were head shots. After watching all the kill cams after each death it was like the shot was fired before the acog was in place. I hate fags who cant play the game with skill and need to cheat to win.

last night there was too many instances where i clearly shot the guy in the chest and i was the one that died first, i was pissed.
and also i feel as though in some games the guns i use i can wreck people with a short burst and other times i need to unload a half of clip into the guy before he goes down.
last night i seriously got heated......so i prestige up lol. now i have some new challenges to complete with my guns. but i miss my akimbo 1887's and glocks.

well I was playing on PSN last night and this one guy, got three Nukes in a row in FFA. I think he died a total of 2 times in those three matches. I only saw him twice during those games but he was kicking all our asses pretty easily. Has anyone else experienced this?
Also does anyone know if the Javelin glitch was fixed on PSN as well? I hate that shit. I was wondering how I was always dying right after I killed someone from up close.

I'm not sure about the sniperfrog thing but I've experienced what that guy was talking about since COD4 on the 360. It's definitely BS when on my screen I've shot at least a good five bullets at the guy, but on the killcam it shows that I haven't shot at all.
Other times I don't know if people just have shitty accuracy but there are times where I'm running wide out in the open and they shoot and miss me and I manage to snap around and kill them.
I think something was wrong with the matchmaking today. In one game I joined TDM but it sent me to a Sabotage map and the score went. Up to 540-480ish and it wasn't over yet

You'll know someone is boosting when he has like 25+ kills and another guy has a disproportionately high amount of deaths. That happened to me last night in a couple of FFA games on Xbox.
You got sucked into a private match. I don't know how people do it but apparently, you can start a match and then some how suck an entire lobby into your private match. From there, the settings are whatever the host has set it to. It is a weird glitch, but its happened a few times to me.

i just got done playing and one game was fucking horrible! i was respawn next to the other team and die right away! no matter how much i shot someone they wouldnt die and i would die within a shot or two! WTF

The spawns are definitely pretty bad in this game..
I find that if I am going against a decent player who is using marathon + lightweight, he will spawn right after I kill him and come back for me in no time at all. It gives me almost zero time to advance/flank.
The best I can do is hide or retreat..
