So far my classes are totally different than MW1. I've unlocked most of the perks and weapons (lvl ~57-58?) and aside from scavenger, bling pro and ninja pro, they're all different. Stopping power is no longer a must on everything except my ninja class. Now I only use it on my sniper rifles and occasionally on a long-range map.

sometimes if its on a tight corridor map like Terminal I'll have the ACR + Scavenger Pro, Danger Close and Ninja Pro. Lay claymores and camp, then launch grenades over the luggage blockades in the middle aisle. I <3 the grenade launcher on that map.

I've also found that I don't need the red dot as much, as the ironsights on many guns are really improved, like on the M4A1 and P90. It's nice to have but usually I get low on bullets, plus scavenger lets me get essentially unlimited claymores, and unlimited grenade launcher nades

Hardline kicks ass too. But I really like scavenger.... its like bandolier, frag x3, and overkill (in CoD4 I'd have two ARs both with grenade launchers) all in one. All in all though I'd say they balanced this game pretty well weapons and perks wise

oh and did anyone prestige yet? I've seen some people who have prestiged already and are like level 20 after prestige too. I didn't get to ask them but I was reading on the CoD wiki that if you prestige, you get a 6th custom weapons slot? That would be sweet.... but I think I like having silencers on all my guns too much

Chopper gunner is beastly... got a 34 kill streak with it. Think I ended up 48-2 using the FAL, which is also a beast with the thermal scope.

It's weak, but there's zero recoil and the ironsights are great. All you have to do is hold it on your target for long enough to kill them. I've almost got that fall camo for it too..

I find assault rifles are good all around. Sometimes I like to snipe on Highrise and Derail, but other than that, I use an AR everywhere else. As for perks, you may want to use marathon for the larger maps, but I mostly use scavenger, stopping power, and steady aim

I think sleight of hand pro and steady aim are very important in this game. If I have bling + ninja and go face to face against someone with sleight of hand and steady aim.. it seems like I have almost no chance of winning that head to head battle.

I'm trying to get the nuke title.... if you use two nukes you earn the title of "Global Thermonuclear War" or something like that. I got a chopper gunner and then I killed myself

oh and I like spamming the Javelin. such a satisfying, yet skill-less kill lol

If you like the genre it is.

But if you like RPG's or sport games, it might not have the crossover appeal

got this game a couple of days ago, played 5-6 hours of live play and I am on level 17 I think. I like the game so far. I don't know all the maps that well but getting used to it. There is much more camping involved compare to MW1 and I don't really like that. The only thing i really play is Hardcore Team Deathmatch. there is also too many options and different set ups for guns, it will take a year to figure it all out and finish every gun. Game is awesome and I can't wait to get home from work and play it haha my name on xbox live is FOOL555666 say hello if you see me or add me and lets game

xbox live gamertag: Going Postal 82

I typically only play Hardcore Team Deathmatch, but I also sprinkle in some Domination from time to time. Right now I'm a level 40 I think. I primarily use Bling, Cold-Blooded, and Ninja. I use assault rifles (M4A1, SCAR) silenced with acog scope. My sniper class is the Barrett with silencer and heartbeat monitor. I think I will go into Prestige mode, but only 1 or 2 levels of it. It seems to me that there is just too much xp required to level up in this game.

I didn't mind the campaign mode. Veteran mode is easier in this game than past CoD's.

I do experience a problem when playing this game, though. Sometimes it will disconnect me from xbox live and I cannot stay connected no matter what. I can go online and surf the web no problem so I don't think it is my internet connection. Oh yeah, it's a wired connection, too, not wireless. It does not do this for other games.

Despite what the reviews say, I enjoyed the campaign. Complaints about a weak storyline is wack but it could have been longer for this installment.

I agree that the campaign is entertaining and has its own value, and that the veteran mode is easier than previous CoDs. There are as always the "omg oh shit, wow" moments and of course, the occasional "if I don't fucking get past this part I'm going to blow up and smash my controller into a million pieces"

can't decide what I like better

tactical knife, throwing knife + marathon, lightweight, commando

or

riot shield, throwing knife + scavenger (no need to pick up knife), lightweight, commando

So damn fun to use though.

These dudes were sniping on the rooftop so after I got out my sniper and killed one I waited and looked around and saw him glitching up that catwalk. I thought he got stuck when all of a sudden I was him levitating up that catwalk and thought wtf! Then I sniped him

so funny.

i loaded up the perks, marathon, lightweight and steady aim with the mp5k w/ akimbo and the g18.

i kept on running around the map and sneaking up behind groups of 2-3 people and just spraying them with bullets.

some guy thought i was hacking or something because i was sprinting forever and faster than normal
