It took me a bit to really get the hang of aiming with a console controller. I played most of the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series on PC and found it kinda hard with a controller.

playing on the PC doesn't maker you a better console player and vice versa.

to the question earlier... CoD isnt known for matching players based on skill... a newb can be thrown in a room with a bunch of lvl 40's...
but since everyone has to do it from the get go.. it only makes you a better player IMO.
halo SEEMS to match you up right.. but sometimes when i play people that are on my skill level... i either mop the floor with them or i get mopped up...
you can never be sure how good the other team/players are...

there is a small game store that usually sells me the game a day before its actual release. That will give me some time to play campaign mode and get use to the game play. I got world at war a day before and tried to login to the online game play but the server wasnt up and running Just had to try.

Anybody pre-order the version that comes with the nightvision goggles? My buddy did and I just died laughing at him because he has no need or had any interest in those damn things until now.

i wonder with the night vision goggles if there is a way to modify them so you can see further
and i wonder if they are like the old school sony night shot camcorders where if you put on some infa red filter you can see thru clothes

It's almost time.... just let it be. Its kinda like when you keep staring at the clock every minute, it seems like time goes by incredibly slow, but if you do other things to keep your mind off of it, suddenly a few hours have gone by.
meh, I already have a 360 and plenty of HD space as it is, and in a few years or so the next 360 is going to come out and the HD and console most likely is going to become a paperweight and the goggles will probably last me a lifetime
It is a pretty sweet deal though. If I didn't have a 360 I'd definitely get the MW2 360 or the Forza 2 package

I dunno if it's been mentioned already, but I was watching X-Play this morning and they showed a co-op mission like the aerial gunner one. Except this time one player is on the ground, and the other provides support from the gunship! Suite!

a friend that works at Cabella's said the goggles are childs play at best...
they work no doubt but its a gimmic.. a cheap pair at a sporting goods store cost 4-500 easily.and sony/microsoft have said numerous times the next console will be 3-4 years at best. and with the dashboard now offering 360 games on the marketplace.. that HD will be a supreme bonus.
and they will not be offering the HD seperate later on.
i think even the elite guys will have to start deleting arcade games and gamesaves over the course of a few years.
i figure the xbox is worth the 399 alone bc of the HD space... and you get the game and two wireless controllers + black wireless headset for basically free... best bundle i've ever purchased...
