Are you sure? It could be that they shot 2 or 3 at the same time. The Chopper Gunner has at least one set of flares that will save you from one missile. Pretty sure it has two flares though.

Interrupt a reload: if you're OCD like me and reload after killing one or two people, but have plenty left in the mag, you can interrupt it. While reloading, tap the change weapons button twice quickly and you can immediately start firing again. Helps especially if your secondary is a stinger or something.
not sure if this'll help much, but I was curious. On Favela, there's a sloping street with a bunch of cars in it. There's also a building next to it that you can get to the very top of. If you want to take a shortcut, crouch, then walk off and land on the car, you'll take little damage (like falling on the mattresses on Afghan). But if you jump and land on a car, the car will explode
don't ask me how I know. Anyone know if there are any other surfaces you can jump on that won't hurt you like that? I like to jump out of windows and through holes in the roof to knife someone below.

yesterday I was playing and jumped down on someone and knifed em it was amazing lol

i sucked when started and went on a 5 game losing streak! grr
but since have gotten a shit ton better and completely addicted to it! lol still at level 22 unlike most of you guys....ill get to level 70 at one point or another maybe by the time MW3 comes out lol

I reload after every kill. Old habit from Halo I that I can't seem to break.

Commando Pro = no fall damage
Whenever I play Favela, I make sure my class has commmando pro. It's too much fun sprinting and jumping off the top of buildings and killing peeps.

Im in love with the WA2000, I've only used it for two days but I almost have the fall camo.
Btw, Sleight of Hand Pro is amazing so I use it in all my classes now. I have really quick reflexes, and with the faster ADS I can pick people off before they even have time to react.

lvl 43. Im addicted to trying to get new obscure titles and emblems. Im constantly changing my classes too, i cant seem to pin down a good setup.
Also, am I crazy? Or does a grenade drop (like martyrdom) every time i get killed by a helicopter while aiming my stinger at it!?

I definitely need to work on my ac130/chopper gunner..
Especially the chopper gunner. When the red box around an enemy turns into a pulsating(?) white box, does that mean you are hitting him at that moment? I have been keeping my crosshairs steady when I see the pulsating but maybe I need to keep the crosshairs constantly moving a little at a time?
Oh and sorry I was off the mic last night. Sometimes my housemates watch me play and talk to me while i'm playing.

I guess I've become used to wearing a mic, because I seem to suck without it on. I also dont play very well at all with the volume down. I need to get a nice pair of headphones, but then I know i'll get laughed out of my living room wearing those.

I love my headphones. I have the lower end Turtle Beach X1 I believe. They are still great to zero in on someone with cold-blooded or scramber is approaching you if you are camping a spot. That and I can adjust voice volume along with main volume when I'm playing with friends in a party.

Also, on Favela, at the start of the match if you start at the bottom of the hill, run up the left and throw a semtex at the car at the top of the hill (I think it's blue) when you're almost at the top for an easy kill. I almost always catch someone who runs over there at the beginning.
And if you call in 2 UAV's at once, the radar updates more frequently, so it's not a waste.

lol, I was gonna post it on my iPhone but retyped it on my computer. Anyway yeah Commando Pro would be nice on that map, but I get paranoid about heartbeat sensors and making noise when I run. I'll give it a try. I only use Commando Pro on my knife class, heh
about the chopper gunner, if the white box appears around one of them, I think it basically means you've locked on to the guy, meaning you can shoot and hit him. If you do hit him, it'll make that "thpbt" noise and the crosshair will turn into an X.
Some people use cold-blooded when they die from an AC-130/CG but if you're a CG it's easier to see them moving cause you're closer, so if you see something moving on the ground shoot it. the good thing about the CG is that there's no reload, so just spray in a somewhat random fashion around walkways. If it hits them, it'll make that thpbt noise and slow them like they were hit by a stun. then keep pouring it on

I see, I'm not that good at throwing grenades so I kind of rely on the frag grenade bouncing or rolling into an enemy to get a kill
I guess I should try it for a few rounds.
I find that frags tend to just roll away from the enemies I throw them at.
Also:
Stick semtex to a guy's riot shield and it'll kill him
Semtex explodes faster giving them less time to run
