Finally got my first nuke a few nights ago.

And do you guys know if Care Packages or Emergency Air Drops auto-balance themselves? It seems like whenever I am winning, I get horrible air drops. I got Counter UAV, UAV, Ammo and Sentry which is literally the worst you can get.

Then when I'm losing, I get two precision air-strikes, a predator and a harrier.

Maybe it is still random, but sometimes the EAD just pisses me off.

I think it's random. I've gotten a chopper gunner and AC130 when I was winning. I've also gotten a UAV/counter UAV when I am losing.

OTOH, I've gotten screwed like you.


I am curious about the chopper gunner....does it last for a set time or is it based on kills? It always seems like ends really quick for me, but when other peeps have it, I can hear it for a couple minutes.

Yours is probably getting shot down real quick. It'll last a while if nobody shoots it down.

I got a couple EAD again. A few good ones. First set I got Pave Low, Predator, Sentry and UAV. Second set I got Sentry x2, Predator and UAV. The others I forgot. Was winning in the first one, losing in the second so it's probably random.

The gunner lasts around 45 seconds? It takes two anti-air missiles to take you down. So anything short of 45 seconds you're gonna miss out on the entirety of the gunner. If you want to get more kills, its better that you lower your sensitivity to LOW right before you hop on to the gunner. I've gotten more kills doing that.

I love putting claymores in front of tactical insertions. If you're lucky and wait, you can camp in a hidden spot, if the guy respawns and puts it in the same spot, then you can get two kills.

The funniest crap ever was when I killed some guy not too far away right after he put his TI down, so I moved a few feet over and when he respawned, he spun around in a circle, firing from the hip, hoping to kill me and yes, I killed him

I LOVE doing that haha. It is frickin hilarious and sometimes they have a friend who spawns close and you'll get a double kill.

I got 5 kills today in a row from some noob who kept throwing down his TI in the room behind the kitchen in Terminal. I have SitRep on so I see him dropping it. I'm using my noobtube OMA class (Tommy's class, haha) and I just kept noob tubing that kitchen. He would not stop dropping that TI.

yea it soo hard to shoot down the care package helicopters.

i always end up blowing it up after its already dropped the package.

i really think that the chopper gunner shouldnt add to your kill streak, it makes it easier for people to get the nuke.

i think the 25 kills you need to get for the nuke, should be done by your gun,
that would take some real skill there thats worthy of the nuke.

Got a 21 kill streak today! I went 21 - 0 before I got rushed by 4 guys and I didn't have time to reload to pick them off. I finished 23 - 2. Its too bad it only registered as a 12 kill streak because 9 kills were from my Care Package Chopper Gunner and kills resulting from Care Packages items do not count.

Still fun though picking them off from above. I went undefeated in a match before, but this is probably by far my best finish since going 25 - 2 in COD4 one time.

If you get knifed by someone using the Infected title, you get that achievement as well as the Infected title for yourself. It's kind of like a zombies thing where you can spread it around.
There's also the STD title that you get if you stab someone who is using it. It says, "Transmission Complete" and you get the achievement for it.

It means someone who has the Infected title has stabbed you. If you're on the 360, add me and stab me please. I need that title =p

Ok WTF. I just got sucked into an eternal domination match in that small map with the tower in the middle (i suck at the map names). This match was out of control. At any given time there were 2 choppers and 2 harriers out there. It was impossible to stay alive. The leader had 375 kills and 867 deaths. I left at 52/62. It probably would have been cool if the map was bigger.

Why did the game never end? The score was 5500 to 3800 or something.

You were on Rust. You can set the time for private matches. I don't know how they were getting choppers and Harriers though.

Damn it, I forgot to record the video of one of my nukes! Harrier, chopper gunner, then nuke of course. I used Tommy's strategy, nade launcher, 1MA, danger close, camped in one spot, then another, and another after dying a couple times trying to rush them on Invasion.

When I noticed I was at 21-2 my hands started to get numb in anticipation, but I noticed the score was like 6600-4700 or so. Got a couple more kills then decided to rush them. I somehow got the last kill for the nuke, then I got shot the score was 7400-something, I shit you not, when I set the nuke off. Some of my teammates killed the other team, but I guess the nuke timer kept going and stopped the game from ending? or maybe I was wrong since I was so jittery.

my heart was pumping like crazy... I wish I recorded it the game itself was kinda slow but the last minute or so was epic. ahhhhh I'm so mad, I still don't have a nuke video yet, and that would have been a great one.

that's probably cause they didn't have the nuke set as a killstreak. I prestiged recently and didn't get a chance to unlock to nuke again until today, but there were several games before that where I went 25-0 or better.

oh and that reminds me, on that same map Invasion I had a chopper gunner with the nuke set but there was an attack helicopter outside and it killed me an almost nuke.

I thought private matches didn't award XP? Weird how I got pulled into a private match.

I wouldn't mind playing a domination match up to 10K points on a big map, that rust map is just too small. It's like playing HQ on Shipment--beyond chaotic.

That said, I think they should bring over some maps from COD4, like Crash, Countdown, and Bog. I love those maps.

WOW so that private/public match glitch is getting on my nerves. Way to many people doing it now, was in a game, changed to hardcore domination, 9v9 on rust, and legit there was a constant ac 130 and chopper gunner in the air. Not to mention the harriers and pave lows. The top guy on the other team was 350-110. Its happend to me about 1 out of 5 games. This bugs that they keep having are making wonder if they may have rushed the game out a little too soon.
