I hate it when people abuse the akimbo 1887s. They have ridiculous range. Some dude killed me at an opposite end of the second floor hallway in the middle building of Skidrow with a single dual shot. I felt like throwing the controller through the TV after watching the killcam.

You do realize that more than 95% of this thread consists of talking about MP and 90% of why it has almost 10/10 ratings across the board is because of MP.

I wish the nuke wasn't so easy to get.
I kind of don't like it because it ends the game too fast when people get it.
And it seems like the only way people get it is with the damn chopper gunner.

It's a total noob class, but I've gotten quite good at putting M203 rounds through windows from across the map

lately i've been using the scar with extended mags, and the 1887 akimbo. those shotguns are dirty with ridiculousness range.

So much BS.... playing with some buddies on TDM, I went 19-0 on Estate, and we were up 4400-500.
I ended up with a Chopper Gunner at that point, but I was in between the enemy spawn points.... someone on my team died so I picked up a precision airstrike when it was clear, and I knew exactly where the bastards were. Went prone to set the airstrike location and the game lagged out and kicked us back out to the lobby. and I had a chopper gunner after that too
I was def. feelin it that round. I forgot to get the coaxial cable and the video cable for the capture card setup, that would have been an awesome round!

I will share my nuke strategy when I get ten nukes and the rotating nuke icon. I'll even videotape my nuke runs. It's cheap but effective. Every time I get accused of cheating LOL

aaahh... the joy of spoiling the enemy's team big lead with a game ending nuke. 
So on the latest patch (1.05?) the only thing that changed is a fix for the javelin glitch right?

I thought that was coming in 1.06. I heard matchmaking was fixed in 1.05. BUT im not positive.

This is pretty much the same strategy I use everywhere now when I'm going for the nuke. People always accuse me of hacking, even my own team. The whole game lasted like 4 minutes
I've got to get a better video editing program though, because the quality on this one is pretty poor.

Yeah, and with one man army pro you can reload in 5 seconds, so if you have the time to do that, you've basically got unlimited grenade launcher ammo. I also set up claymores around me to keep people from rushing in and killing me.

nice job Tommy! I wouldn't say it's cheap, because there are worse things in the game *cough*dual 1887s*cough*.... though I had no idea you could have more than 2 claymores with OMA. I'll start using it now. So I assume you have the rotating nuke icon now?

Anyone getting that annoying "Edit" or "New Reply" bug where the page doesn't load and refuses to load after couple refreshes?
Anyway, ninja edit: Never realized the importance/use of One Man Army, the last slot is usually pretty useful, but w/ grenades, you never really shoot. Can't wait to try it otu.

got killed with javelin glitch all over the place today.... I am thinking more people are learning about it / getting the weapon.
AceSup brought me into a Hardcore Team DM, I think I did OK but it sure is different without radar etc. Honestly I prefer without radar, that's how we used to play when we had multiplayer meets. So it was refreshing. But seems like I was a bit outclassed in there in terms of skill.

Step 1: Find a spot you like looking out at where enemies will approach.
Step 2: Set a claymore nearby, chuck 2 flashes in random directions and shoot the grenade launcher wildly wherever you please and pray you hit something.
Step 3: Hide in a corner and One Man Army
Step 4: Set another claymore and repeat the rest of Step 2.
Step 5: Repeat Step 3.
Step 6: Lie in wait for enemies to launch grenades at, throwing flashes for hit markers when necessary, replacing claymores as they are tripped and using OMA to replenish grenades and/or flashes and/or claymores and/or ammo if god forbid the entire team rushes you back to back to back
Step 7: Prepare a smartass response for all the whining in the lobby while you do all this.
Step 8: Profit, and remember to hide when you call in the killstreaks.

hahaha it's just a matter of time before everyone catches on to my strategy. I just have to hope I can get my rotating nuke icon before everyone's doing this or before Infinity Ward nerfs the grenade launchers. At least I haven't seen anyone on PC doing the same thing.
