just got this tonight (well yesterday but didnt have time to pick it up until tonight) - my favorite thing about this game so far compared to GT5 is the car sound. much better. I tried challenging some of Stapler's times and failed quite miserably. That guy is crazy. I haven't even encountered civicdrivr's times yet, I don't think we are friends yet.

stupid question - how do I access all the cars I got from the download packs? I see them in the DLC area and it tells me I have downloaded them (and I did enter all the redeem codes and download everything) but they are not in my garage or anywhere else accessible..

 

They should be in the normal car list. In fact I don't have the packs and I still see them in there, tempting me. You do have to buy them with credits though.

 

oh. so after I "download" them, I have to buy them? :ghey:

 

Just do a few rivals races. Youll get money pretty quickly.

You can change your leaderboard view to show club and friends by pressing x. It's quite annoying.

btw I have no words for how you are running clean laps and getting those times... especially in those races with slower traffic....

another question - is there any way to turn the ghost car image off? I hope so. it gets distracting if you are very close to it (known issue, thats why in most games (like GT5) you can turn it off)

 

Yea, its in the settings somewhere. I cant remember where exactly, but it is in there. I keep forgetting to turn mine off.

 

I don't think so. I have mine turned off in all other scenarios, but it's still on in track day challenges. If you can be more specific on how to do that, I will reference to you as a hero rather than the spawn of satan.

 

Once I get a chance to fire the game up again Ill check it out. Im currently in the midst of a 20hr shift at work and the prospect of me playing any video games letting alone being able to put together a cohesive sentence by the end of the day is going to be near impossible.

Today i had some time play and beat some of your times. Not sure about you guys but i am using only my controler and all of the assists are off except brake line. I cant get through autocross no matter what i do i suck. There is few track that i need to beat civicdrivr yet but dont worry im gonna get you. Very impressive times guy in Senna race. I dont think i will be able to beat that. We should make somekinda contest.

 

The Senna one is my favorite. If I went back to it & practiced, but could probably shave another second off by being smoother.

 

Working 20 hr days for the past couple of days/weeks isn't easy on the human body! I'm usually looking at the funny picture thread while chugging a quad shot of starbucks expresso!

 

I ended up staying the night at my girlfriend's place last night so I wasn't able to get on Forza. I'll be giving people the boot sometime later today if their name isn't on the list.

 

I think creating the list and giving people the boot only on the weekend is a little crazy. Gotta say I would have been a little irked the next time I got on. I know I for one rarely get on Acurazine during the weekend. Also didn't play any Forza this weekend cause parents were in town for the weekend. Just a suggestion you should give it a day or two during the week Mr. CarClubCzarGuy

I was awake over 30hrs when I posted last. I worked 23.5hrs of that time. I passed out around 10pm last night and didnt get up until 1pm this afternoon

Actually, please dont break my time on the Senna race. I felt like I was driving on ice and that time took forever to get to.

I just worked that much Saturday-Sunday, but I couldnt imagine doing that repeatedly. Id quickly forget what day/week/month it is.

 

So I've been meaning to ask, those of you who are past Level 50, what do you get rewarded for leveling up afterwards? Just credits?

 

Yes you just get credits. I think when I got to 51 it was 102,500 and then 52 was 105000 and then 53 was 107500. I am not positive but I know 53 was cause I just got there Friday. Pretty decent amount of money for sure.

I also gained about another 100,000 while trying to beat peoples drifting times. Still not very good at it.

Going to play a little more tonight and then BF3 starting tomorrow for a while.
