Finished last night at 1am at level 10. Made getting up this morning hell but it was definitely fun. No 1M yet for me either which pisses me off too. Only got about 8 cars that transfered over from Forza 3 as I was only a level 41.
Still trying to increase my skill so only been doing races with F and D class cars right now and 1 C class car. I love the BMW 2002 Turbo. I have built it into a C class car and damn does it move. The sound of it is also pretty amazing. One of my favorite cars so far.

btw, i find this game to be too easy on the financial side... after level 4, the entire manufature line gets free performance parts!? really?

Haha nice. I am waiting till I have a bit more coin to build my F. Might even wait to see if it is an eventual car I can win. I just hate that when you do 3pc wheels to color them you can't color just the centers it colors the entire wheel.

Got up to Level 17 last night but I put all of my money into a Gallardo 570-4 Superleggara and the McLaren F1 
Stapler123 shared a car within the Acurazine group and I took it for a test drive. It's a Chevy Volt that's been modified to Class A. I thought my surround sound was fucked up because when the race started, the car was moving, but I didn't hear anything. It took me a minute to remember that the Volt is an electric car

And the Class level might as well not even be there. I can't hold the field off in the Fiat 500, but once I jump in the Citroen DS3 & try to draft a 500 driven by the AI, it's still keeping its distance.
You practically have to own a car right at the max. level to stay competitive for some races.

Yeah the AI is hard as fawk. I have the assists custom selected so that may automatically put the AI as "Professionals". My poor McLaren F1 could barely keep up with the 599 GTO

Yes, the AI can be such fucking assholes. There were a few races where I had to play dirty because even when I finally got up near 1st & waited for a clean pass, I'd get rammed from behind.
And the Class level might as well not even be there. I can't hold the field off in the Fiat 500, but once I jump in the Citroen DS3 & try to draft a 500 driven by the AI, it's still keeping its distance.
You practically have to own a car right at the max. level to stay competitive for some races.

Also about trying to make clean passes and getting rear ended. I stopped trying. I think the AI gets switched to a harder setting once you pass them. So I end up flying past 7th-2nd then while waiting for a place to pass first 2nd 3rd and 4th all catch up and seem to be mad as hell. I also find it fairly easy to pass fisrt, but very difficult to pull away from it. Sort of a rubber band AI (but not like arcade games where the actual cars themselves get faster).
So, I have procured an extra copy of the Limited Edition, who wants it 
And no, I will not be asking $100 for it. The first $45 (picked up, $50 shipped) gets it. I wont have it in my hands until Monday though. Heres the deal:

I think that is one of the difficulty settings that gets set. If you do the races individually it actually gives you a setting for upgrading the opponents cars. I think when I started career it was just normal stock cars like I remember, but now every r1 car is within 3 points of the top of the class.
Also about trying to make clean passes and getting rear ended. I stopped trying. I think the AI gets switched to a harder setting once you pass them. So I end up flying past 7th-2nd then while waiting for a place to pass first 2nd 3rd and 4th all catch up and seem to be mad as hell. My buddy was telling me tonight that I'm better off doing the single races because World Tour is pretty much set on Professional difficulty with the AI set to upgrades. He made it up to level 25 & then quit because it became too much of a hassle to even finish 3rd or 4th in the R-Class races.
I want to laugh but its happened to me six times. I fixed it five times on my Elite. The sixth one killed it. I took my sisters base 360 and swapped the guts into the Elite case along with cutting out HUGE air passages. I also install all my games on the hard drive, it helps it run cooler (and quieter).
That motion "wheel" thing a few pages back and I wouldnt be surprised if one of the older Microsoft wheels work.

Yea, I assume you have an older 360? If you look at the rear there are little tiny holes in the plastic casing. I cut those out. Behind that is the metal casing with more vents. I cut those. Right behind those are the fans. I made it so there is basically nothing blocking the fans exhaust.
