First impressions with about 30mins of play.

Toss Forza 3.5 out of the window. From the perforated leather on the gloves to the homespaces, this is a totally new game. It actually feels like more than a game, especially from the intro that you guys will surely enjoy.

Headtracking is awesome. Naturally, the closer you sit to the screen, the better it works, but from my couch about 10 feet away I can still get some use out of it. You have left and right movements along with leaning. I hopped into a Miata and tested it on Road America and loved it.

There are brightness settings that work wonders for brightening up those dark cockpits, so thats a non issue.

Menus are simple and sweet.

Ya'll are in for a treat. I just played it for 30 minutes, but it leaves that demo in the dust. It feels better, looks better...automotive racing bliss.

Also, it doesn't look to me like the cars we're ported over from 3.

The first car I drove was a 3rd Gen MX5, and I would assume something as mundane as that they would've, but they have touched up the lights and fixed the camber issue as well as refined the wheels, brakes and grill. It all looks better.

 

Damnit hurry up day be over so I can play a little bit at least lol

I just bought a old school Mustang and now it has 899 horsepower

I wish I didn't have to work 4-10

 

I spent an hour last night trying to beat your M5 time Tyler and only gained .5 seconds on my time which left me still 1.5 seconds behind I guess I really suck.

 

That's how I feel about other guys on Acurazine. I'm .71 off of civicdrivr's time and can't get any better than that

 

do you need your forza 3 game disc in any way for the "certain cars" to be able to transfer?

or just the game save?

i undoubtedly will never play forza 3 again and even if its worth $5 i'd rather trade it in now and get it over with.

Oh my god, the sound in this game is just orgasmic.

Drove the Lp570-4 at Sunset & not only did it sound near perfectly to when I drove the car in Vegas this year, but the sound developer took the time to make sure that when the car got on the oval that the engine sound would start an echo across the area.

Will be hard for anyone to tear me away from this game.

This game is killer.

I played in Autovista for like an hour and a half.

Anyways I added MS Points to my account to get the Season Pass. 30% off is cool with me. I had some left over points and you can use those points to buy cars in career. Now I have a McLaren F1 and have 11 "tokens" left over to buy other cars. The Veyron SS is only 3

i might pick up a 360 again for this game, but i dunno cause it would be expensive....

 

The AI definitely gets more challenging as you get up in the levels. I'm just beyond Semi-Pro (I think?) & it's already offering up S-Class & R-Class multi-field races at Level 20.

Got about $600,000 though already & free Ford/Citroen parts. Still waiting to see where the game starts throwing money at you.

 

I really wish there was a difficulty setting because of that. I ended the night doing r1 (a class I hate), on hokenheim ( a track I hate), in the dusk... after going loss less. The AI was so frustrating. I just want to get races like that over
