Yep, the Fanatec is 360/PS3/PC compatible. Im buying mine next week. I really want the elite but cant justify that much for just the wheel.

I did a Live update and a Forza update last night and somehow the game deleted my 1965 Stang with 899 horsepower AND my 570-4 Superleggera. Wtf.

 

WTF indeed. That shit better not happen to me. Im installing it onto my HDD right now.

I had to do that initial race with all the assists turned on. Who actually uses the auto braking?? I just kept it floored and just steered.

 

Got my monitor hooked up and it is awesome.

One of my favorite things about the first Forza was the 2003 CL-S. I remember you could drop an NSX engine into it.

On a side note, I think we have CL twins. Mine looked identical to yours.

Yes we do, i just dont have blacked out trim and i did clear the headlights though. But they look identical.

btw I've noticed most (all?) of the reviews are saying this is a better game than GT5. And using very strong words thereof. That's quite a compliment, imo.

I only hope they tweaked the car models on some of the cars I love, I tried some on Forza 3 and was cringing at how bad they were.

 

I can agree with that.

Although both games have their faults and qualities, Forza is 100% complete. GT5 fails to be on par with a lot of things because its quite obvious they tried to squeeze in everything they could. I think Turn 10 could have matched weather and night racing, but their choice not to, because they couldn't do it with 100% satisfaction says a lot.

GT5 and previous Forza series fell ill to what is pretty common to racing titles, they feel dead. Forza 4 feels very much alive. Its hard to explain, but there are several qualities to it that make it feel very real and in depth.

 

Such an awesome game, we should get some private races going but I keep playing virus because its so addicting.

 

GT5 has the polish, this is the one that I think finally beats it though.

I've been unlocking all of the autovista cars and if you do the M5 challenge, you unlock an old school Bentley 8 Litre. You can't buy it in the game but it's effing sweet to check out.

So, the more I play the more the AI amazes me. Sure it's annoying, but most of the time when I check a replay and review a wreck they out braked me and I should have ceded the corner.

Anywho playing one of the verses challenges on Fuji I took a early lead, but started to mess up a little in the second half of the stage. For the last 30 percent it was me and the AI weaving in and out of traffic, but I made a mistake and the pass the AI made blew me away.

I rewarded it's bravery by punting it into a prius 3 turns later, but I was still impressed.

 

I fucking love this game. I do wish weather and night racing was in it though.

The sounds are amazing. I love the little backfire you get changing gears in some cars. I also find it hilarious that you can put a "racing" battery and motor in hybrid/electric cars.

For those of you that have been trying to play me online, Im having connectivity issues and tons of lag, so Im not going to do anything online until I get that figured out.

Also, wasn't the Pagani Huyareiasfdiaoefaioasdfvikjn supposed to be in it?? I really want to drive it.

But yeah, that was an awesome pass. I got up to level 22 or 23 in World Tour and started coming in 3rd place consistently. Now I've been selecting races individually and banking out.

Morgan I'm sure the Hurrarrryaarryyyyaaaa will be in a DLC pack between now and April. I hope the Aventador is a DLC car as well

 

I found that if I keep selecting a c-b class car it will suggest some other races other than r1 for the world tour. I just can't control them at that speed as well and don't find it fun.
