This game is killer. When I get bored, I go to Autovista...and when I get bored with that I paint, and so on. Theres so much to do in the game it hurts.

Night/Weather will be 100% amazing when they get here, and they will. I just can't help but imagine what kind of DLC they have in store for us. For all we know they could be putting some of that stuff in and making it available for DLC. Unlikely, but I wouldn't put it past them.

Porsche's contract with EA is out in about a year or so I believe. If they don't renew, you better believe they will have a bad ass Porsche DLC.

 

I sure hope they do. I miss driving the CGT

 

EA is being a bunch of limp dicks with the exclusivity deal with Porsche. I wish Porsche would have put some pressure on EA to sell the rights to Turn 10.

super addicted been playing for 5 hours today. Just got to level 30 as well.

Put up a batshit insane Camaro. Went balls out on everything, I don't know why.

Just now put up a tastefully modded Supra. Owns the B class.

 

The Supras on this game are rad. I wish their bov's were louder though. It would have been cool if Forza 4 gave you different choices of blow off valves and let you preview the sounds of them when buying parts.

Also, I think I now might know why Forza games only let you paint certain wheels. It may have to do with contracts between each wheel company and the game. Some company's probably don't want forza to incorporate false marketing of their real life products since some wheels were only intended to be marketed in one color choice.

My last complaint is that you can't lower some cars as much as you could and that you cannot give a car stance or widen their wheels.

Besides this though, this game is much improved from Forza 3.

 

They definitely need to add more wheels.

damn how do you get your pics so you can share them?

 

When you take a picture it asks if you want to upload them to the store front. from there go to the Forza website and log in. Your pics should be the first thing you see towards the middle of the screen.

Another thing, I just noticed I had codes in my game to get the launch pack w/the Lexus SC300, Tesla etc and Top Gear/Proving Grounds DLC. I didnt know it was in there.

 

Have to try that when I get home. At TacoMac right now but got to Level 35 before I
to watch Eagles game.

 

Turbo models actually do have rust problems , in fact, all pre 85 models are susceptible to them.

If you want to make it a bit more realistic, put some rust right above each side of the rear bumper

 

I really wish we had more options for paint.

Sure you can, just like in 3..

You can lower each car 2-3 levels with springs. You can also widen wheels and alter offset a bit by widening your tires.

Additionally, you can go into tune setup, and lower the car from .25"-.5" more in the springs category.. You can also adjust camber dramatically in that menu as well.

 

I love this car.


Of course I can't get within 10 seconds of the c class dodge dart brigade. I really think the hot lap classes need more granularity.

I can't even get close to your times lol. Tried to beat your one around the Top Gear track and failed miserably.

 

Also I have always wondered how many people here race clean races where you do not get that triangle with ! inside it next to your time. I hardly ever get through a lap without getting one of those and never an entire race.

 

Its tough to race clean, even moreso with no aids.

it tells you if your rival's lap was "clean" or not right next to their lap time on the top right.

you cant "beat" your opponents time, unless you finish the race cleanly.

There is so much to do in this game I forgot about versus. Every time I get doing doing some grinding I get lost in some other aspect of it. I think I drove all of the club garage cars last night. I would try to set a hot lap with one, then see if I could do better in my car.

 

No matter what, I always get the triangle on the first lap of every race. It also annoys me that when an opponent drafts you, you get the triangle too.

 

Just beat someone's Road America time. Sorry.
