I made one for $30 in about 2 hours Monday. Version 2 is being planned now. I don't think I measured anything correctly, a real departure from my usual woodworking. Guess I was excited. It folds to go in the closet.

 

Driving inside of a Bugatti Veyron. Hot.
Doing the tightest and fastest donut with it. Sick.
Redlining the Veyron in 6th gear as you hit 240 mph. Priceless.

Thanks. I've already found quite a few areas to improve upon. It's way too top heavy right now. Very light over all, but doesn't stand up on it's own.

FYI, I wouldn't buy it. You will be getting one once you come close to completing the R3 championship (I think XP level 25 or close to it)

I've been spending alot of time playing Madden 10. But after reading this thread, makes me want to leave work and buy Forza 3 right now. Great more money leaving my wallet

man I make terrible buying decisions in these games, I think I've wasted 700k on 4 cars. At least the game continues to give me usable stock cars.

Also does anybody know where to download the launch day car pack, I looked all yesterday and didn't find it.

 

I think I have 8 cars now total in my garage. Just about all of them have aftermarket parts on them. My RS4 has the most done to it out of everything, yet I've dropped maybe $25k into it at the most (suspension, tire grip, tire width, brakes). I'm enjoying the cars stock as of right now.

What cars were included in the launch day car pack? I didn't see that as an option. I just entered the codes on the cards in the box for my special edition cars and such.

And has anybody else noticed that the AI are dirty ass drivers? I've been spun out so many times.

The ai are aggressive, but I don't think they are dirty. Usually if they hit me it's because I tried to pull of a pass at the wrong time.

I will say that the ai is pretty tough when given the chance. I built a perfectly mediocre bmw 3.0 csl and used it in C class races. It neither handles very well or has much power. I have to fight tooth and nail to get in front by the last lap.

I hope they balanced the AI out a bit, or added another difficulty. In F2, Easy just isn't even worth it unless I have a severely underpowered car, Normal is usually a little too easy unless my car is underclassed, and Hard is usually too hard. I'll catch up in the turns and they just pull away on the straights.

When I'm in 1st, if its a close battle, then as long as I don't mess up I'll stay in 1st all day long, and it's not like they're right on my ass or I'm blocking them or anything. But if I brake too soon and they pass me up, they just pour it on and eventually they're just a dot on my screen no matter how I drive afterwards. That always pissed me off.

I know for a fact I have those cars in the game, but I don't know how I went about getting them there. I had the card for the VIP Member Cars (DBS, 430 Scuderia, etc.), the card for the community designed Audi R8 V10 for pre-ordering at Gamestop, and another card for something I can't remember

Have you looked in the Marketplace on Live and see if there are car packs available for download?

And the AI in FM2 were crazy easy to the ones in FM3. I try to steer clear from the pack and it seems they swerve all the way over to me just to screw me up. I love how they mess up on turns and such if you ride their ass though

 

That's sweet, and another reason why I got bored of Gran Turismo. GT's always been a beautiful game compared to the competition and has a lot of options but the physics and AI were really outdone by Forza. Every AI in GT follows pretty much the exact same line if undisturbed.... which made it all the more fun to ram them!

 

I agree 100%. GT is an awesome simulator in every aspect, but it just isn't Forza

Btw, Gamestop has the GT5 boxes out to preorder. The back said 850 cars

 

I think the AI on medium may be slightly more difficult, but mainly because they will try to outbreak you more often right after you pass them (and yes it is fun to watch them fly into the gravel when they do it on a hairpin). On difficult I think it's still about the same. If I am in a competitive car I can usually finish a race with 5 to 10 second place, but if I am in a S class camero and first is in a saleen s7 I am pretty much screwed.

Though I have fun mixing it up in the C class on difficult I spend all of my time grinding on medium.

 

I need to learn to read, even though I don't have the collectors edition it still has a card for the launch day dlc in the box.

 

Still haven't picked my copy yet Will pick it up on Friday evening.

 

I love the auction house. I got a NSX-R GT for 7K (game wanted 900K) and a Jaguar XKR-S for 20K(game wanted 111K).

 

I like C and B-Class a lot. I had an EG (92-95) Civic hatch with cams and full suspension upgrades, some pretty sticky tires, tuned for maximum handling limits. Little screamer, fun as hell... so much grip for a little car.

 

We should set up some races that follow the B-Class, A-Class, etc. rules. That way what counts in the end is the tuning and the driving, not so much the car. I hate playing with my friends, all they want to do is race S999 cars or drift all day and crash into each other oh, and turn off collisions!

 

Damn I need to check out the Auction House! Sick ass deals it sounds like.

JRhodes88, me, and a few other guys did that last night. I think we used B class cars and did a 4 lap race. It was fun not knowing I was in a race with a bunch of dumbasses just trying to screw up my car. Considering I'm not that far in the game, I have to use stock cars not in my garage, so it makes it pretty interesting.

 

Just got a M5 E60 for 22K(game wanted 80K).

 

I'm up for that any time. In forza 2 I spent allot of time with a group that only did B class. That was some of the most fun I've had in a online racing game.

 

Well lets get a list of people willing to play Forza 3. Not only just racing seriously but also willing to screw around in Bugattis on the new test track for an hour like we did last night
