Oh by the way.

Anyone notice that using a manual w/ clutch makes your car faster?

Try it out, I ran with the 01' S4, a 14.6 with the A/T, 14.3 with the M/T and a 14.0 with the M/T with clutch.

It's ridiculous, but I guess its there to provide an incentive for using the M/T with clutch, which I use all the time anyway.

Nope, at least I can't, maybe somebody out there has a secret setup for actually doing a good rwd launch

lol I like to use MT because engine braking works in the game too, at least it does for FM2. Downshift at the right moment and the engine will slow you down even more than just braking. Downshift too early though and you'll get overrev damage.

In real life its the complete opposite.... usually a stalled auto with a transbrake will launch like a mofo and it tends to be more consistent. I know you know this though.

We'll see how my lap times are when I play FM3

Wait, wait, wait....point to point is in the game? Sweet!

And how is the clutch used, specifically with the wheel?

I'm installing it right now, I can't wait! Is it hard to make money btw? It took forever in FM2! Or are all the customized cars above chosen in "Free Run"?

No, it's not hard to make money. My advice is to not buy a lot of cars. I'm on level 37 or 38 and I've probably bought 10 cars out of the 45 that I currently own (you get one car for each level.) The only reason why I bought the 10 is because I wanted to see how fast they would be fully modded.

Can you play in Free Run by yourself without having to race with others? I have no motivation to play in career now that I have all these cars avalaible with LCE.

^I haven't tried actual circuit races in Free Run yet, only drag races. I know in the drags, you have opponents everytime. I haven't checked if there is an option to turn it off though

^Damn. You are missing out! I'll be on around 1 tonight

I hit level 15 earlier this afternoon and got a Ferrari California! I really want to buy some cars, but with getting a new car every level, I don't want to drop bank on a car and then get it for free eventually.

If you don't win the cars you can't paint them like I do.

I need everybody's input on this....I'm looking to build a drag car but don't know what to choose from. I've thought about an Evo X but just haven't pulled the trigger. Any suggestions?

Datsun 510 with a drivetrain and engine swap is gonna put you in the low 20s in the 1 mile run. When I upgraded one, I was in the top 10% before I sold it. It was faster than my upgraded Veyron. I'm pretty sure with a better tune, I would have been closer to the top 5%, but I'm just not interested in drag racing as much.

What's the whole thing with shifting with ''MANUAL'' instead of shifting with "MANUAL+CLUTCH"? Are you suppose to shift, give it a second or two then reapply the gas?

I've seen all of the top times with that car, and as awesome as it is, I don't want to be the norm. I'm sure I'll have one eventually, but not now.

Any suggestions besides the 510?

I drive using the manual tranny, not the manual and clutch. I've tried it though, and as soon as I let go of the clutch, I was right back on the gas. Just go to hot lap and play with it until you figure it out. I personally don't like it, but that's my

Agreed. And I hate how you can't rotate the car around 360 degrees while adding vinyl to the top of the car
