I save the picture to my storefront, then go to the forza website and log in. From there I can view my pictures. I save them to my desktop and then upload through Photobucket

 

Just put up a pic using the AZ decal. Search it under Acurazine.

What did you do? You're only banned for about 2 weeks...no big deal, just gives you time to save up money.

 

I rarely ever try to "max" out a car with upgrades. I like keeping it in the class it is stock, or maybe a class or two above that. I hate seeing "S" class civics and Cobalts, lol

i always max one of my imports out for a drag setup... it competes with all the muscle cars my friends have...

that car is NOT a track car by any means... it cant turn for shit.

awesome launch on that GSX too... (it has another 30k in upgrades i havent done yet)
i got sick of seeing all the 9 second baracuda's...

ps. my S civic sold for over 100k... so building them sometimes has its benefits


on the other hand.. i find that maxing a car in the class it is above stock usually makes for a demon car in races...

ie: civic (E Class) maxed out in D class... best way to do it imo...

 

You probably have more drag knowledge than me, can you help with some suggestions on a $50k budget drag car (incl price of car)?

I had trouble getting power to the ground using a high HP RWD car, so I think I need to do something like a cheap AWD car, and then build it up with some race tires... what do you suggest?

 

my setup is using the 95 GSX eclipse with the EVO motor swap.

you wont see 10 seconds for 50k but you can swap the motor, put slicks on it and put a better tranny setup for around 50k...

and continue working on it from there.
your working with EVO guts on a smaller, lighter car.

i was blown away at what the car did with around 100k invested... over 9.0/10 launch and over 9.0/10 acceleration.

i've tried a few RWD setups that didnt work out in the end.. my shelby mustang burned out for 2 1/2 gears..

 

In drag races, do axles break in drag races and do engines crankwalk too?

I'm getting so damn tempted. I shouldn't buy this game, at least not until my unemployment check comes in, but I just might. I need to kill some time

I really want an AWD. No spinning tires through first and second FTW. Either that or use my Z4 M Coupe.

No, they still don't handle breakdowns and damage like a true sim. Also specifically for drag racing. They do not let you stage and there is no way to red light.

Also when racing on a oval track you can not set up the alignment on your car asymmetrically, you can't choose how much fuel to put in the car, for some reason adjustable final drive ratio is linked to upgrading the gearbox and not the 3rd member, and there is no qualifying. Little things like this always dissapoint me on console games that call themselves sims, but the list of complaints I have with this game is shorter than others I have played.

I do enjoy doing point to point races in a E class mustang though.

Hey, its better than ramming people in Gran Turismo though! I was just joking anyways, I would surprised if they had it, but then again they already have collision and overrev damage, so they probably should have it.

They probably don't want to get down to the nitty gritty. Most people wouldn't know how to adjust wedge anyways.

Yup! I reserved the Prestige Edition, or whatever the $150 version was before when I had work with a $20 deposit. Now I'm barely getting scheduled, FML.

 

Even ways that shouldn't be an option, why in the world can I do an AWD setup in my Viper ACR. Stuff like that is just stupid.

While some things are just extra for sim fans, I think if you are going to include drag racing you need a working light tree. Also to have a rwd drag car with any real power they need larger tires in the game.
