I'm pretty sure that no matter when you're driving you can hit pause and go down to photo mode.

Thanks! All it takes is practice my friend, remember to not stay on the throttle once your car is starting to slide...give it little bursts of throttle and countersteer. I'm cgtpotomac btw online!

Aside from putty and paint, the wheel stand is done! I feel sorry for anyone driving with the wheel on their lap, this is truly the best thing I've ever done for gaming. I'll be putting the DFP wheel and pedals on there in a bit to check out the setup difference.

I used the clutch in the demo and hated it, therefore I don't use it in the actual game. I haven't used it in drifting yet either. Maybe I'll do that tonight.

I'm up for some racing (semi-serious). Only had the game a few days, but I can't seem to get enough of it. Props to whoever posted the multiscreen mod - very helpful!

 

Beautiful RS CL! The car is an absolute beauty to drive. I've played a few hours today and I'm on level 7.

Daniel, this game is absolutely crazy. If you're remotely into cars AND gaming, it is a must have in my opinion. I do think the price was expensive (90) but it's worth every single penny of it.

The clutch features works pretty nice and use it all the time, when I'm inside a corner. I just dip it (while the throttle is applied fully) then release right after, just like you would in real life.

I always told people that GT4 would be unbeatable and probably the best racing sim ever made, but FM3 really showed me otherwise.

I can't put the game down too, just that damn multiscreen thing that isn't working for me for some reason.

 

if I had a wheel and pedals with a clutch I would use the, but on a controller it makes it too busy for me. It does help in launching a 2wd car on the drag strip though. If you get off the power immediately with the auto clutch it re engages even unless you are using X amount of throttle.

 

Same here. The last game I bought was GTA4 when it came out almost two years ago. I'm not a big gamer, but I'm all about GTA and Forza

I've been racing online alot recently. The only thing that pisses me off is that you can't do the public matchmaking online with a class lower than "A". I got a C-class Civic that tears it up.

ps guys... play online to get those level's and your money up quickly.

i played online with a few of the guys here over the weekend and was making up to 14,000 credits and 12,000 XP for EACH race online... sometimes when you dont even win

the more people in the room the more money you get... and levels are going up like crazy when you average 8-12k XP a race....

Last night was the first time I've really raced online and was trying to win. For the most part, everybody I was racing against was mad cool and not just a bunch of noobs in Enzos thinking they are the shit. Like you said, if I finished the race within 30 seconds of the first place guy, I got between 8000 and 16000 credits. Shit was crazy.

And at the angry Ferrari guys. Sounds typical. I love Ferraris, don't get me wrong, but you can't beat that AWD. And that sticker added easily 50 horsepower and took 860 pounds out of the back

That was the one and only time I've used the rewind feature.

 

I think I level up faster in the game (most high level races are way above 14k for a race), but it is less tedious online. I went from 45 to 48 last night online without even realizing it.
Also. I am addicted to tag virus on benchmark ring E. With 8 people there is more fun to be had there than anywhere else.

 

Haven't played any of the Tag stuff yet. We should try it one night with all the guys here on the forum

i didnt know a peugeot was capable of the arial maneuvers that were demonstrated in that race...

simply insane... and tons of fun.. we need more azine guys to fill the room up.

 

true.. but the higher end races take like 20+ minutes... you can race 3 laps on short maple valley in 4 minutes or less and earn 12k and do it all over again with a bunch of guys and its a blast!
