I may not be creative but I love all these cars, including my R3 Sentra SE-R Spec V with a twin turbo 3.7V6 and AWD... my sister in law actually has one, so I had to make it into a monster for her and it is.

Has anyone seen people cheating in Forza 3 lately? I went into a game and as soon as the race starts, these two cars literally float and bounce in the air hitting me and hovering along the track. They don't touch the floor for 15 seconds, just hovering. When they are touching the floor, their wheels sink in several inches into the track.

It is like no clipping mode has been turned on.

Edit: I want to be very clear. They are more flying than floating. They hover/flew over my car as soon as the car started and zipped and zoomed in front of me across the track. I'll take a pic later since it was on my friend's xbox.

And I personally haven't seen anybody cheat online but I've seen those videos before. I'm sure Turn 10 is working on it. The game hasn't been out too long so I'm sure there are a bunch of kinks that need to get worked out.

That's why I'm asking for MW2 for Christmas. I don't want to leave FM3 any more than I already am.

I do need to paint my rig this week, though.

 

I always thought the cars flew because it was the connection that was lagging.

I'm picking up MW2 tomorrow as well but made a promess to myself to not touch it until I'm done Career in Forza 3.

liked it until I made it badass. Now it's just an untamed monster. It has something like 850hp and it is near impossible to get that power to the ground. It's okay around a circuit, definitely drivably but you can feel that you're not getting about half those horses.

On the strip it's awful can't get a good launch and end up spin the wheels through 3rd. Mind you yeah with a good tune it would be better but it's a not a drag car that's for sure. If I made one again I'd go for A-class, with the stock motor.

The Sentra is pretty good on any track however but also a monster, it just happens AWD helps a lot.

I just started playing it last night and man was I addicted. I think I played for 4-5 hours total, stopping only to eat/drink/pee. This game is a huge improvement over FM2 and I liked FM2 a lot. I'm glad I got this game.... but I'm getting MW2 today.... bye bye social life

I know you guys are like level 1000 by now, but I might as well share, this is my latest acquisition. Nothing special, but man is it fun to drift! Too bad I can't drift like Team Blackjack... those guys are nuts!

Well it is going to be necessary I think in one of the event list as it's the only car allowed. I've been quite economical throughout the whole game..still have over 1.2M after the CGT purchase.

 

Oh dang! I haven't gotten there yet. I've been buying the cars I really need for races recently, not ones that I want. I did the lightweight challenge or some shit like that last night, Toyota/Lexus meet, and some others. I'm really starting to get into the game now

I came back to it for a night. I spent at least an hour trying to get 100k drift points in a B class car set up for racing (lotus Carlton with suspension, weight reduction, and larger rear tires). I got 91k without using the rewind on the japan track and gave up. A class seems like it would be too easy.

already talks of when they'll release MW3... games already under developement.

guess my entire game collection will collect dust for at least 2 years lol.

I've been trying to do vinyls while the paint for my wheelstand dries. I've not been too successful.

 

i have both games and have not opened MW2 yet, still playing forza. My fear is if I play MW2 then i wont go back to Forza, I waited a year for Forza to come out so I will probably still play Forza after I try MW2

 

Can anyone comment on how much better the game is with the wheel?

Thinking about getting one just not sure its worth it.

 

It's going to be harder. But I think it's ultimately more fun. I made the mistake of starting with a controller in Forza 2, and could never get the hang of the wheel. Haven't touched the controller in 3 except to make vinyls and cruise the storefront/auction house. Such a blast to drive with the wheel.

 

I'm still playing very much so. I hit level 50 yesterday with nearly 6M in the bank. However because I chose to use Event List instead of Season Play, it says I've only completed 17% of the game.

Kinda neat, but unfortunately It looks like the real track is wet, and the host doesn't know how to drive.
