Yeah, my wife's Civic in CA was something like $650 when it was about 4 years old & she'd moved to TX.
She was shocked at the difference, and the cheaper inspection/emissions test costs.

I guess I will not complain at 500 bucks for the year for ALL my cars...
insurance is the bigger pain for me...but even then...

Insurance is cheaper here (I think) as we pay ~$650 per 6 months for both cars. No emissions/inspections either.

I pay a smidge over $200/mo for the Exploder & MiniBus, so right about equal to yours.
The Midget will add a marginal amount to that number.

We pay $1200/yr for insurance on both cars and registration for the Tesla was $70 for 2 years.

They get you with the personal property taxes though. This year will likely be around $600 for the Tesla.

Latest OTA update came through and DRASTICALLY improved the phone key performance. I no longer stand next to my $75k truck like an idiot waiting for it to unlock.

I've only seen 1 S on the road around here, it's a good looking SUV.
Given the prices I saw for 21s, I can't imagine how much a set of tires for the 22s has to cost. Though 22s have been common for a while, maybe 21 is just still an odd size, but it was something like 6-700 more than the same tire in 20".

Rivian, in their infinite wisdom, has some random one off tire size for the 21's so the only tire you can replace it with (for now) is the OEM one and is therefore super expensive. For the 20's and 22's, there are multiple tire choices out there that can be chosen from...which is a big part of why I didn't go with the 21's. Get a flat tire and you're fucked in finding a replacement.

Yeah, the 20s on my Exploder & the MiniBus are super common 20 inch sizes, though the Explorer are just a bit smaller than what the majority of A/T tire sizes are. Odds are it'll get either LTX or AS4 Michelins when it's time.

Been seriously on the hunt for a GT350 for a couple weeks now...lost out on two of them so far.

The Sequoia is a lot bigger than a R1S. Also, you can put a sheet of plywood in the back of that thing with the tailgate closed?

I don't know the dimensions of a sheet of plywood, I just measured, 48" wide by 89" long is what I can have with the 2nd & 3rd rows folded. I have gotten a 6" x 48" sheet of wood in there. The crew max Tundra has a 5 foot bed.

Plywood is 48"x96" so it won't fit with the tailgate shut. Yes the bed has a 5ft capacity but you can put the tailgate down and drive around that way without much of a problem...provided you tie things down lol. So yes, your Tundra does have more capacity than the tree along with being able to carry 5 people (or more stuff inside) while doing it.

R1T has a 4.5ft bed with the gate up, 7.5ft with it down, so I can (and have) easily toss in a sheet or three in the back, tie it down, drive it home. Works awesome!

The burbs are YUGE, I bet you can fit a whole sheet in there and shut the tailgate...but you're only bringing one other bro (or sig other) with if doing that.

We have the front seats pretty far back, I moved them forward to where it's less comfortable but usable and get 99"

But I'm not moving sheets so no care.

LOL, or I can leave the hatch strapped down and hang it out the back and have 4 or 5 people...or I can put it on the roof racks and have 6 or 7 people...and an entire
hatch full of illegals!

Have a line on two right now. The one I want has a deposit on it but the seller isn't sure the guy who put the deposit will go through with it. If he passes, I'm going to snag it.
