You can get precut pieces to replace the stripes with for about $250. The shop quoted me $1200 to do it all so that's definitely off the table until at least next year.
just buy the $20 ceramic from Amazon and coat that baby...it is permanent enough to make a big difference
but not permanent enough to not address it again in a couple years.

The only S2k I'm going to own from here on out is the one I sold many years ago. I always ask the guy who bought it from me if he's willing to sell. So far the answer has been no.
All looks great, if the Midget had windows, I'd think about a decal like that, but with 2 fewer gears

It was already on and drilled when I bought the car, was likely done by the first owner. At that point you might as well put the plate on. If not drilled, the mount would forever be on backorder.
The Rivian front plate mount is on perpetual backorder, can't seem to get one for some weird reason.
Will do but it's hard to get videos from outside, will try and have friends video it next time I'm out with them.
I know I'm heavily delinquent on photos of the car and will try and get some ASAP, especially now that it's actually clean after the last random rain storm I got caught in. Nothing to make you pucker up like a known crowd plow running on PSS tires in a rain storm.
Saw one over the weekend in a darker/off-white with I think gray stripes. Dark parking lot & didn't get a great look.

I did an IMSA plate frame for my car, but I like the manual one you have as well! Did you make it or you found it?

The off white ones are the heritage edition cars and have dark blue stripes.
The blue/white one next to mine was a GT350R and the orange one is a GT500 CF track pack with the carbon wheels. Mine is objectively the "worst" of the lot lol.

I got both the sticker and the plate frame from etsy. They were both pretty cheap.
Yeah, I only got a passing look at it, so I couldn't tell if the stripes were blue or gray. Dimly lit lot at the local In-n-Out
Of your 3 there, I'd still have yours. The R is tempting & probably my 2nd favorite colorway for the Mustang, outside of the Heritage.
Thanks! The R is cool but doesn't have a back seat and the suspension is stiffer. I have no need for a track car and the normal one is plenty #becauseracecar for my purposes.

I agree. The 500 has a ton of power but you lose out on the manual. The GT350 will still get you put in jail just as fast and you get a third pedal as well.
