Finally used this thing for the very first time in nearly two years of ownership lol. Actually sounds pretty good.
Also moar pickup truck content, love having the ability to haul whatever I want whenever I want. Plywood brought home for cabinet build because cabinets are expensive and I'm cheap/poor.

I hear you on doing the cabinets yourself having just spent a shitton on the new kitchen. Wish I could do carpentry.

All you really need is a circular saw, straight line guide, drill, and pocket hole jig to make cabinets. It'll suck to do it but you definitely can. Table saw makes everything considerably easier.
And the "I don't even want to know how much" in tools to make said cabinets.

cabinets are easy to build. It's the face frame that takes the longest, especially if you're scribing the edges against not-plumb walls.

Seriously, face frames are a piece of cake with a good table saw, some spacer blocks, and a pocket hole jig...also a nail gun.
