This weekend I traded in my 2015 TLX for a 2018 RLX. I put 5500 down and got in at 615 a month, 12k miles with the hazard coverage. I feel like I got a lot of car at that price point. The ride is luxurious, powerful, smooth. It makes me want to drive slow for some reason. I truly enjoy this car- I put 200 miles on it that night. I was not expecting the ride to feel so substantial. The interior is elegant, quite, and the sound system is great. Not sure what else stacks up at this price. Really happy to have acquired this car. Hopefully Acura pushes an upgrade to car play but that is not that big of a deal to me, the car is super enjoyable as is..
Beautiful car. I like the seat design and leather upholstery in the updated RLX. The updated exterior modifications are a nice update too.
I just got in my mail today a flyer from Acura Division with RLX offer "good from March 1 - April 2"!!! 2018 RLX FWD Tech Lease special $519/mo 36 months, 10k annual miles. Zero security deposit $4299 total due at signing(includes $595 acquisition fee). $55865 MSRP, net capitalized cost $42986. Option to buy at end of lease for $26815. It seems Acura is finally getting somewhat aggressive to move units. With the actual transaction costs what they are, the RLX really is a great relative value.
They had a white diamond RLX at the NYC auto show that actually attracted a fair amount of attention.
Quick question to OP. Did you have a 2015 TLX V6 or I4. If V6. How does the 10 speed AT feel on the V6 engine. Did it feel quicker and shift better than the 9speed ZF. Thanks.
@ Vteck the 10 speed is better than the 9 speed ZF, I had the V6 with tech. The 10 speed doesnt search for gears like the 9 did, I did enjoy the 9 in sport+ but they are very different vehicles. The TLX has a sportier feel while the RLX is more of a GT, when it moves it is very linear as opposed to the burst of speed in the TLX.
Enjoyable, this car is great. 1200 miles in and I still look forward to driving it around town. I wish there was more of an aftermarket for this car. But it is a bit of a unicorn. I went with 20% tint I think it looks nice. There are some nice touches as well...the walk away locking is nice. Nice Job.

This is an interesting comment.
It was also my experience driving a pre-release 10 speed that it did not search for gears in a P-AWS RLX; however, many Honda dealers are reporting that in the 2.0 Turbo versions of the Accord, the tuning causes the transmission to hunt too much.
It's on my list of things to do to drive a 10 speed 2.0Turbo Accord, but the contact dealer is 150 miles away. :-)
The accord is very nice, lol that is a hike! please let me know how that turns out if you end up test driving.
The people complaining are correct. In the release version's state of tune, the 10 speed hunts around too much, especially if you know how well it did in the J Motor KC1.
For me it would not be a deal breaker, but I understand why people would ask about it.
