Well...the S2000 needed more doors, more driven wheels, and a lot more torque...

Rivian Automotive is taking action after reports of bedbugs in an area of its Normal manufacturing plant, the company confirmed Friday.
Zach Dietmeier, senior manager of plant communication and policy at Rivian, said in an email that the company received reports of bugs on forklifts in one isolated area of the plant.
“These impacted teams have been notified,” Dietmeier said in the email. “We investigate every report and take appropriate actions per our pest control contractor.”
Bedbugs are tiny pests that can cause itchy bites, but they do not carry disease. They spread easily, but are often difficult and expensive to eliminate.

Yup, it now keeps up with the precondition cycle.
Same. USB-C PD is amazing.
I saw that, apparently not confirmed and only on forklifts?
Guess what's what they get for hiring out of a trailer park in central IL.

Rivian ready to be delivered. Just have to go through the paperwork exercise to get a final delivery date and offload the Tesla.

We all are happy for you and will await your first hand review.
Guess I’ll pass on your Tesla for now. Not buying anything for the time being. I have to repeat this though. Most of us have already bought our last brand new ICE vehicle.

In other news, the truck is just wrapping production in Normal, IL and then needs to get through QC check, shipping, QC/PDI at the service center, and then finally to my door. Looks like it'll be another 3ish weeks before I get my hands on it. Going to be posting the Tesla for sale today.

Looking forward to reading your long-term impressions on the Rivian.
Bummer to not get the max out of the 3.

Slowly.
Seeing tons of transports hauling new cars to dealers again.
Stocks seem to be increasing on lots, at least with domestically produced models. Toyota lots still looking pretty bare.

Weather hasn't been the greatest but here are a few pics! I'll try and grab some more this afternoon before our next snowstorm hits lol.

It has already been driven all over so not worried about salted roads lol. It has just not really been very nice out. Not sunny at all so taking gloomy pics seems like a waste of time. Will take some nicer ones as soon as the weather gets better.

Haha, I don't mind going out when the sun is out but that has been pretty rare lately.
As a quick review on first thoughts with this thing:
As a quick review on first thoughts with this thing:
- The quality of this thing is FAR and away better than what Tesla does
- The interior is great, and it's really nice having a gauge cluster again.
- The sound system is amazing, one of the best I've ever heard to be honest.
- The acceleration is next level. The M3P is very fast as it is but it runs out of steam above 45-50mph. This thing keep pulling like a train all the way up to 80-90 (made a quick trip to Mexico).
- The truck bed has already been used a few times lol.

Super happy you're happy, Sam.
Very cool to know this is a viable option down the line.
I love gloomy pics, it's so much easier to work with the pics for editing when you're not dealing with full sun and light balance issues.
Maybe I'll fly up to see what cold feels like.

I'll see what I can do to get some pics. Problem with gloomy is that the green paint looks black.
It's not cold right now, we're up in the 30's! Give it a few weeks when we're well below zero, then make the trip up.

That sounds awesome...
big expense and the disappointment of selling the Tesla for less than you expected, so I'm certainly not going to make you feel worse.
It is definitely one of the coolest EV I've seen with all the stuff it can do. I'm interested in the Hummer EV but you already know it ain't gonna
be affordable this lifetime for me.
Mmmmm...with lightroom you could bring up the shadows and bump the color to make it more obvious, or mess with light painting if you wanted
to get creative. Just kidding, that's pretty involved and you have a LOT of other stuff going on.
Well, 30's doesn't sound horrible at all!
I spent a few holidays in Switzerland and it was negative 20 or something like that (Celsius)...I remember we came out from a dinner in the mountains
and my Uncle's brother had a rental from Italy that hadn't been winterized and were out there trying to move the shifter knob around to get it to thaw out.
