If you opt for the previous gen E63, you'll probably spend about the same as a Vagon. Even less if you go older.

Maintenance though...is another story

I'm sure in 2013 BT was optional on a Benz, they definitely had cracking trim panels and dashboards along with yellowing headlights.

That was the hey day of crappy quality from Mercedes.

I like the Caddy but not one that old.

I think I'll stick with Toyota, they have never let me down.

Yeah, I was thinking 1G GX, so a bit dated compared to a newer $$ version.

GC Trailhawk?

I looked into them, they are close to 2010+ Platinum Sequoia pricing. I like the Sequoia but if I could get a good deal on a GX I'd entertain it.

Ok Tahoe lovers, what about a 126k 2012 LTZ?

My dealer is offering it for 16.

You want a big V8 to drive around, that's about as good as it gets...well almost. You could get an Escalade or Denali.

Nah.
May dad's 13 Denali (Yukon XL) has about that on the 6.2 with no trouble.
IIRC, some 5.3s had issues with AFM, but I don't remember if it was year specific or all.

Also on those wheels. The non-chrome OE wheels are better, IMO.

I'm not a chrome fan but a Toyota dealer won't have rims to swap.

I'm hoping he finds a 4runner or Sequoia.

Autonation offered 17888 no purchase needed. My dealers 18.5 is predicted on a purchase

Are dealers in business to sell or just list cars?

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=295787353

I have contacted several dealers about several cars, no response. That LC was Monday, still nada.

WTF?

Bought our '15 LTZ with 110K miles...wife to be drives it...
up to 131k now and all I've had to do on it is change out the rear magnetic ride shocks that were blown/leaking.
and 1 wheel bearing 3 months ago.
You literally would believe me if I told you this truck was a year old...it was THAT clean.

Zero regrets...she loves the damn thing. I love driving it...I don't feel like a minivan bitch like when we had the Ody either...
feels substantial, great for road trips and the torque makes it so nice around town.
Did I mention parts are super cheap? AC delco...1Aauto...rockauto...
you won't believe how cheap EVERYTHING IS...if you get bored, leveling kit...or 4/6 drop kit....

Those chromes will sell pretty well on offerup...I took out shitty 20" chrome off and sold for a grand and bought the 22" Escalade wheels
I love for $1300 without issue.

can't load flickr for some reason but if you feel like reading a bit

No sir, we ended up selling it to a co-worker and friend for his wife that just had another baby.
That thing was fully sorted but the trans never felt strong to me, especially loaded up with kids
trying to muscle our way around the tail of the dragon on the way to her Dad's house.

Funny she misses the better gas mileage (I honestly recall the same mpg around town on the MID on her Ody
as the Burban but she has a harder time understanding that you're just putting in MORE 27 gal to fill up...she just
sees it as expensive, not the fact that she'll go 400 miles)...and the size...and the sliding doors...but we rented
a minivan on our vacation last week and after a week in that ALL the kids and her said they couldn't wait to get
back home to the 'Burban.

PS...did you know that Suburban is the longest running nomenclature on any vehicle? I think it's like 66 years running now.

It's way longer than that. I remember reading it started in the 1930's or something like that.

Sam ain't never lied

Chevrolet Suburban
Fast fact: Chevrolet Suburban is the longest-running automotive nameplate in the world, reaching 85 years of continuous production since its introduction in 1935. Another fact: Chevrolet Suburban is the first vehicle to reach 85 years of continuous production.

Another dealer, no response. Seems the universe wants me to keep the 86. My WIfe too, she is angry I want another car.

Maybe telling her the day after she got her 2nd covid shot was a bad idea?

My guy sent me these so I had to let her know before I went to look.

I decided to pass through because I don't want a light interior and I really want a platinum.

It was 18F this morning when I woke up.

Also the great part of Toyota never updating anything in their truck lineup is that everything looks new even though it's 10 years old.

Yup, 2018 got a different grill & LED headlights. I have one I got stuck with from the Tundra so I'd need another.

I have a driver side like this.

Yup, it always works out though, when I find what I want, I'll get it.

She is mostly feeling like shit from her second covid shot.

Hertz, Focals, sub amp & sub out of the 86, also the Nameless strut bar, P-Tuning e85 kit and MCA suspension bits.

Ordered a 2013 Sequoia Platinum from Autonation that's in Texas, like I order pizza, dropping the 86 tomorrow at a local Autonation.

Crazy times we live in.
