I ran into fuel codes so it scared me into not putting in any corn...I do miss how well it drove with the blend.

I have the e85 kit & tune so I hope there is no issue. It runs much better.

Today was the first time I drove in sub 70 degree weather, really felt good.

I got food near an e85 station and shoehorned 2 gallons in brought it up to 31%.

The fuel system on the 86 can support full e85 without issue. If you end up going FI, only then will you need a new low pressure pump and injectors.

E85 is the truth. Car ran good enough for me on the street with a header and E85 tune. Bonus, E85 made my crickets go away.

Dunno how cold it gets where you're at but the colder weather will make morning startups a pain. Mixing in more 91 like you did will help.

Stock tune is dookie, but I'm sure the later models are a lot better than the early models.

Kinda embarrassing, but are there differentiating terms between the early and late models? Kouki/zenki?

Coldest I have ever seen it was 39, that was 2006 in December, my first year here, got up to 130 that summer.

It was 68 this morning at 4am when I went to work. car felt great, felt great all the way home at 78.

I plan on putting more e85 in tomorrow, it's at 28% now. No cold start issues so far but it's not what I consider cold.

Shit yeah...that's where Dick Tracy died isn't it?
Fun fact, I worked at the movie theater when Mulholland Drive came out.
I guess right after I worked there, just checked release date.

Started my "BBK", deciding on one or 2 piece rotors.

I know I have to swap the bleeder with the plug.

I'll take them to be powder coated when they arrive.

Morgan, do you think these Stoptech/Centric rotors are ok/will work?

Nevermind, WRX are not 5x100 :P

I went with a full Stoptech kit, so I'm unsure on the WRX setup.

BTW the WRX is 5x100 IIRC. I think it was only STI that was fucky throughout the years.

Those second ones I listed were from a 2004 and are 100.

I'm not spending 3k on brakes. :P

Do the WRX brakes require larger rotors? Or is it just a caliper swap?

I bet the smaller rotors will be ok but the point is larger rotors for better contact area and more area to cool. (IMHO)

I want the largest rotors I can get

True, I wasn't sure what most people were doing. I seem to recall most going with the WRX setup not for actual braking performance, but for appearances. However, IMO the stock brakes are plenty. I got the Stoptechs for a screaming deal, which is why I got them. Do you plan on tracking the car hard? If not, you're probably better served just upgrading the lines, pads and running good fluid.

The car has oversized rotors IIRC. Don't remember exactly... but the front rotors are the same as as Legacy, rears are from a WRX. Or the other way around?

Stock pads and fluids on this car are trash and are the first things to give out. Those were the first things I upgraded.

Tracked with stock rotors and calipers otherwise and without issues, but I'm not a time attack god.

Seems USPS lost the fronts. There's a front Stoptech set on 86 club for 1200 used calipers but rotors., pads & ss lines are new.

Also thinking about giving you all my tracking for everything I order, you're so good at keeping track I figure this thread would be a great place to have all of them.
