A 6MT sedan isn't out of the question now that prices are reasonable...
but for now, I'm happy in my Sour Kraut.

So I blew a tire yesterday morning on the highway... in the rain... at 5am

All is well & it finally gave my the excuse to get some summers on there. Picked up some used 285/35/19 pilot sports a few weeks back to see what kind of fitment I'd be working with going that wide at my height. Well, the V made them "fit", picking up a fender roller tomorrow to finish the job..

Need to get under the rear end this weekend to shuffle the subframe, needs a slight adjustment.

:

I had my winter setup which were 265/35/19.

With the subframe shuffle & some rolling, don't think 295's would be far of..

They're definitely a great tire, even used. Not bad for $100 for the pair

So like $60 bucks US..

They have maybe 50% tread left. Definitely do the job.

They wear so super slowly even lighting them up all the time.

I'm curious to hear how rolling the rear goes...the lip is already pretty far up
and it's double walled so it will take some muscle to get it to flatten.

At 60 bucks used no wonder you didn't give a fuck

$60 a tire used for those is an insane steal. I would love to try those tires but as quickly as I go through a set right now with all my driving I can't get myself to leave the Contis.

I dare you to light them up every day until they burst then take them back to try and get your $60 back claiming they are defective.

Installed a set of LED license plate lights last week & finally remembered to take a pic in the dark this morning. Pic isn't the greatest but they are such an improvement over stock, not overly bright & tacky like some others I've seen. They also match the reverse lights very well & add a nice touch to the rear end.
