They transformed the car and I am only on springs. I bet with coils they would be amazing. One of the problems is they don't make sets of them very often.
The rear one was easy to do cause I did it when I installed my exhaust. You do have to at least drop the mufflers down to do it if you are not doing exhaust at the same time from what I had read. The front one is a much bigger pain from what the shop told me. Had them install it when I had my front upper and lower control arm bushings installed. They said they had to drop the subframe a bit to get it in. Believe they just loosened the bolts enough to lower it about 1in though.

I can most def help out sourcing parts. You jumping ship?
Fenders are untouched, may have to massage the rears for the 285s but nothing too drastic.
There is a sway bar upgrade which only comes as a set with F/R bars for the low price of $1100 US... .. it's not a necessary upgrade but it transforms the car from what I've read. They're on the list.

Like to be informed.....just in case.
Like what I am seeing here though, I do keep a look out anytime I am in the Oakville/Burlington area, on the off chance I see the 'Black Mamba' blow by.

Hard to blow by anything on the QEW through the Oakville/Burlington stretch, traffic is a joke but I do take full advantage of any gap I can find..
Aside from gas mileage, these things are as bulletproof as it gets, especially considering the power they put down stock. There are horror stories of guys getting the dreaded low oil pressure symptom but that's more on modded examples than anything.

I know, QEW traffic is bad at the best of times.
Early weekend mornings or late evenings are usually pretty good.....which is helpful for a blacked out rocket.
Wife already gave the okay for a purchase, I just have to get rid of the other project/parts.
I figure with that, I am good as gold to pull the trigger when the time is right!

I know, was pleasantly surprised she agreed to it.
Hoping so, just have to find one that ticks all the boxes.

That hood is absolutely beautiful. I really want one but would paint everything but the center of it. Wish I could find one local and save on shipping for sure.

it definitely runs cooler with the vents, you can see the heat coming out of the hood when youre sitting at a traffic light or in traffic
