Congratulations Waltah, your new car looks stunning. on your baby seat.

I didn't like the new sedans when they came out but I'm 50/50 on the looks with the hatch now, they look very good. Subaru did a fine job with the widebody fenders too, it's always shocking compared to a regular Impreza.

So what are your plans for it? You have to tint!

Thanks guys! Isn't her seat awesome?

Debadged trunk, except sti emblem. Also detailed the engine bay which will be a nightmare to keep clean with the scoop .

So glad the previous owner had a boost gauge installed in my MS6 when I bought it. Without it I would feel so vulnerable.

I dig the wing...

Wings and STIs are like bread and butter.

Speaking of dumb Mazda moves...the 3rd Gen MX5s oil pressure gauge is linked to the RPM gauge...it revs when you rev. Absolutely nothing to do with the oil pressure.

Very nice car. Have you thought of going FMIC, then a flat hood so people think you're a true ..... Then smoke them on the track?

Ricer parking angle was to have room to get around the car in the garage to detail. There is a pole in the center otherwise I would have kept her straight.

No fmic for me, going to stage 1 and enjoy it for a while. It a blast stock but the stock tune is horrendous

May as well start figuring out what downpipe you want right now. Stage 2 will be fun with your car. Do you have E85 where you live?

yea im looking at intakes and DPs, need to save my pennies. I would love to run E85 but the closest station is 20miles out of the way. That and I dont know enough about it.

POS is being too kind. HOW THE HECK does a production vehicle leave the assembly line with a tune this bad!? if the stock maps werent so bad id be leaving it stock for now. but alas...

You absolutely don't need an intake. Save yourself the $ and headache, get a DP and go stage 2.

Yeah, an intake doesn't do shit on a STi. Check out the Cobb Tuning stage 2 kit. A lot of people just get that package and call it a day. It comes with a full TBE with a pro-tune.

Subie has so much options for modding. Have fun!

loaded stage 1 93 map.... holy crap this car is an animal! im good for now. I'll be saving for the downpipe, intake and a shortshifter. i know the intake is a very small gain but this is my first turbo(had n/a and SC), i want to hear the spool

should have came like this from the factory, not just the extra power either, the smooth hard pull through the rpm range instead of a crappy surge and drop off does wonders for drivability.

Doesn't it feel GREAT?

That's how I exactly felt the day I got my Cobb AP. The smoothness of the power delivery actually was the thing that got me the most. The overall drivability of the car improved a lot.

Your car will get faster and faster as you add more mods and tweak the tune.

My car has gotten much stronger just by fine tuning the map with the same mods. The OTS maps made by Cobb aren't that great since it has to work with so many cars all over the nation. So, they are pretty damn conservative as far as the fueling/timing/boosting are concerned.
