The 360s were the last to use timing belts, requiring the expensive belt change every 3 years ($3-5K and an all day affair IIRC).
F430s use a timing chain.

I probably spent 30 minutes just looking at that one car...
Just the door hinge mechanism is amazing...

Can't wait for this year's auction to see what's on display...

This is the Winter Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale. If you are in town for it, let me know, I live right down the street from where they have it.

Today coming back from lunch I saw a Fisker Karma in the flesh on Canyon Road and by the time I realized what it was, it was too far gone for a picture.
I was alone so the thought process went like this:
First second: Ah...LEDs. Damn Audis.
Next three seconds: That's no Audi.
Next second: What is that?!?!?!
Next three seocnds: WHAT THE F**K IS THAT?!?!

^^ cool
my story from tonight is not quite as rare ... no photos tho...
saw a white R8 V10 spyder on the highway... my god that thing looks wicked. I think I like the spyder better than the coupe aand the sound.

I must agree with you, the R8 Spyder is a gorgeous car and one of the few cars out there where the convertible is even prettier than the hardtop. My local dealer has a white on black V10 Spyder on the showroom floor. That car makes me want to buy a lottery ticket and head somewhere warm with it for the winter.

I don't think there is or ever has been a car like that. Convertibles always wind up looking frumpy, especially when the top is up but the R8 looks stunning either way. Personally I'm glad they went with a traditional soft top, a metal folding roof would have looked awful in that profile.
