I know this isn't the usual kind of desirable that is always seen in this thread, but apparently what my friend just got as a classic can fetch a lot more than I'd think:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/97860483@N02/10529944064/http://www.flickr.com/photos/97860483@N02/10529944064/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/97860483@N02/, on Flickr

It's a 1974 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with 19k miles. Story is that apparently an old man in my friend's town bought it for his wife, she passed away, and then he kept it in a garage for years. The man recently passed away and my friend (who bought 2 other cars from him) found the person dealing with the estate and got it for a couple grand. GM 501 V8, red leather interior, convertible top works, and it's pretty good condition for its age. Oh, and it's almost 19 feet long and seats 3 20-year olds across each bench seat with room to spare. Just needs some exterior trim pieces (body fillers) and a tune up and it'll be good to go and drive around.

Anil stop trying to be so damn fancy with pictures. I want to see the whole car, not the badges

Dat Alpina and between the Scud and 458, I must admit that Ferraris look stunning in white.

Ha! The salt on the roads scares away the collector car types.

Although, there was a video last year of a guy driving his Alfa Romeo 8C in the snow before we got the full brunt of 28-inches of snow...

Not sure where to post this.

This Tesla was rear ended. Most of the spot welds broke. Pathetic
