The "Photos You've Taken of Exotic/Desirable Cars" Thread
NOTE: I do not condone talking on the cell phone, reading the newspaper, putting on makeup (especially if you're a dude) or shaving (especially if you're a chick) while driving, but with today's sophisticated technology in digital cameras and large LCD displays it's fairly easy to shoot photos of those rare/exotic vehicles you encounter while keeping your eyes safely on the road ahead of you. We've all seen and gawked at other people's fine machines on our journeys and now there's a thread to share what you've seen with your fellow car enthousiasts. Please only post pictures/video that you've personally taken from the car you were either driving or a passenger in. Again, safety first, so please use your head if you're attempting to take a photo while driving your car.
So, for the very first entry, may I submit this menacing looking black Murcielago I saw on the way to the Phoenix Azine meet this past Saturday on the Loop 101 in Scottsdale.
If I just walked around my block at the right time I could snap pics a white gallardo (that they always burn the clutch , and new blacked out gran turismo, r8, some elise/exiges, etc etc etc
LOL how did I know this would turn into a WTF Car of the Day Part II thread???! at the "M" X5.
Well here's a few videos that I took last year on the way home from work. Funny enough they were both with in minutes of each other. Once again on the Loop 101 in Scottsdale.
PA is PAthetic when it comes to stuff like this...you get the occasional aston martin/bentley/maserati, but never ferrari's or lambos or anything insane like that...although, a guy that goes to my barber just picked up a new gallardo, should be here by the end of june or july...i'll snap some pics when i see it

for you to walk around the block at the right time. Please try to take some pics.

I hear ya. I know there's a lot of areas where there just isn't any exotics or collector cars driving around town. I guess I've been lucky (depending on how you look at it) to have worked or lived close to cities that have very wealthy residents so I see them on a daily basis. Although today the only somewhat notable car I saw at lunch was a new AMG E63. My co-workers thought it was ugly. I told them they were nuts.
The March 7-8, 2008 snowstorm in Cleveland, OH provided a great test for SH-AWD and decent UHPAS tires on my 2006 RL. First part is the trip into downtown Cleveland on I-77 N, second is I-480 east on my way home after another foot of snow. Video quality is poor as it was filmed on my Treo--my good camera was broken at the time of filming.
Actually, funny enough, I have seen a 206 before. I used to work with a Hungarian girl who was doing her internship here in the US. Her parents had her car shipped over from Hungary (they were very well off apparantly) and she drove it with the Hungarian plates on it. It was a Peugeot 206 Cabriolet. The one and only 206 I've ever seen in person.
Saw this in DC...I was in my friends car but aside from the lambo was a red F430, black 911 turbo, white 7 series with 20" white rims, new Mas coupe, and a black phantom!
I'm pissed because I didn't have my camera last week. I was in Colorado Springs on a business trip and saw a white BMW M1...At first, I thought it was a DeLorean (it was just after sunset), but then I saw the two BMW logos on the rear.
I really need to keep my camera ready. My phones got a 3 meg so it's not like I have an excuse. lol. The guy down the street from me is one of the head honcho for the Chicago board of trade and has a Ford GT. He parks it on a gravel driveway! My subdivision is new and they just added an extension to the gated community near my street, his house was one of them added down the street and i now understand why it took so long to build after hearing that he shelled out $2.1 mill on his new home. Has anyone else see'n one of those Ford GTs on the road? The thing sounds so frickn amazing. I'll also try to get a pic of some of the rappers cars that live in the area. Twista lives down the street from one of my friends and has a stretch Chrysler 300 that he spent over $150,000 on and R. Kelly lives about 3 miles west from there and has an all blacked out lambo sitn in front of his ginormous house. I want to say that it was the one from the music vid "Go Getta", but I believe that particular lambo was Young Jeezy's so I'm not sure. There's also a couple athletes within a 7-8 mile radius like Neal Cotts of the cubs (currently in the minor leagues) he has a brand new Escalade all blacked out, Kendall Gill (a former Chicago Bulls) has a silver Z06. He was also on the show MTV Cribs, then there's two current chicago bears (Anthony Adams and Terrence Metcalf) not sure what they drive but I've just heard that they live around here, and last but not least there is by far the most expensive person in chicago not named Michael Jordan or Brian Urlacher and that's the owner of the Gas City franchise. He has both a red and a yellow Ferrari F40s... So thats just a little of what I see around here in Chi-Town... Anyone else have famous ppl around?
