Make me feel better about dailying mine while it's warm. My S just turned 29k miles today and it'll have another 1000 in the next few weeks.

One underrated thing about the Toyobaru twins is the factory-rolled fenders ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I've always been paranoid about rolling fenders... Especially looks like ass when the edges that meets the bumpers aren't flush.

I was wary buying a higher mileage S2000 (just turned over 125k), but after a good inspection and having all preventative maintenance done .. car is pretty stout and shows no real signs of age.

A mild roll, if done correctly is really not scary to do, it should be done if you plan to run some spacers or to run a more aggressive wheel, but when you get into aggressively rolling/pulling...that's when you run into trouble. Ask me how I know

^ What kind of coilovers did you get?
I'm still scoping for a set of KWs ... no luck yet.

rock, not sure how close to buddy club the bc will be in terms of preload/spring length but...
I'm at correct preload at:
200mm front
175mm rear
and there's 5.75" of visible thread between middle perch and bottom lock perch on front and 2" on rear.
Also, highly recommend you spray down all the threads with some teflon dry lube.

Better than stock, I turned the dampers 8 clicks from soft and it cushions bumps better than before.
It turned out lower than I wanted for the first estimate but I'll bring it up .5" all around this weekend.
And like mentioned above. Not tracking my car. Just occasional spirited driving and that's what these are made for. Daily driven comfort.

Holy shiettt...
See, the Buddy Clubs are maxed for me and I'm barely tucking tire. The bottom little valve stem thingy is mm's from touching the rear lower control arm, only way for more is less preload...which no. The fronts for me can lay the tire on the inside of the fender. Too much.
You sure you go the preload set right?

Good God, thats low!
Crazy Bimmer---I've been looking for the same info. S2Ki.com has lots of good info, but its fairly disorganized. Check the "Just bought my car, now what?" thread for some good info on what to check/change with a used purchase.
Short list of things I found:
Check suspension subframe bolts for alignment/torque
Check/grease control arm bushing bolts (may be seized)
Lube clutch cable
Grease shifter assembly
Check elastic bands on the top. Replace with Modifry units. <--I had no idea how much farther my top would retract until I did this. I can now put my boot cover on with no issues in about 2 minutes!
Change/torque spark plugs
I'm sure I will find more as I keep searching through the site.

these just go retarded low.
and I mentioned raising half an inch... its gonna be more like 1" all around... and a little pinch more in the rear to get rid of the reverse rake it has.

Dave, what's not to love, man. ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Look into the moddiction blue convex side mirrors and the spoon sports rearview mirror...all have that blue effect and also give you a broad view around your car when sitting at a light with top down.
If you didn't get it...do the modifry glove compartment separator, I also did the phone holder and side cup holder since my coffee was right in the way of the shifter. Also, Modifry sidemarker module...super easy to install and makes sidemarkers light up with parking light.

When do you plan on putting wheels on?
The difference in tire size & wheel weight alone will make you giddy about the handling of this car all over again.

S-Noob question..
is there no rear or front jack point?
I have a low pro jack so its fine for getting under it... it would just be nice to lift it up in the center and throw some stands under it
