I have already purchased all of the items you mentioned. Bob is a great seller (Modifry) and I highly recommend purchasing with confidence from him.
I was a bit put off by S2KI at first---I knew the info was there, but it was a bitch to find! I guess I was spoiled by the organization and easy searching on AZ. Now that I know I have a bunch of AZ friends with S2Ks, I feel better.

Anybody have any experience with buying aftermarket bushing kits?

Sounds like a worthy upgrade in my eyes - I drive my car hard and it would be nice to tighten 'er up again, no doubt some of my bushings could use replacement.

Skunk2 on all my Hondas 
I got this one for my 86, but it's a little small for my taste. I prefer the stock knob... even though it makes shifts notchy, it's wider. I'm all about girth now :theghey:

Trust me fellas, once you drive with that style one (our matching mishimoto knob) you won't want to drive any other. I promise you, I always get bored and swap to other knobs just to see if I like it better and NOPE, always end up back with this one the same day. It just makes the shifting feel so precise...and you can comfortably grab it by resting your hand on the top because it's wide and thick enough...or wrap your hand around it for that side grip. It helps a LOT with that early morning initial cold fluid/tranny 1st to 2nd to 3rd slight notchiness.

It wasnt the right color but it doent matter as my whole car is pretty much getting repainted in a week so it wouldnt have been an issue getting the top painted as well. Plus, my rear plastic window has a small cut in it and the expense of replacing the soft top was just around the corner
The seller was selling his car a few weeks ago and for some extra money he was going to through in the top. I tried convincing him to sell me the top back then but he refused to and stated that if the car dosent sell he wants to have the top around to be able to drive the car in winter, sadly, at least for me, the car sold a week ago and he advertised the top with the accessories, tells me it got sold the same day

Here is how my AP2 headlight set up will look like
had a spare set of AP1 headlights that are going to be for sale soon, found a set of rick's version 1 clear diffusers that I tinted and installed in place of the OEM amber diffusers. Version 1 are similar in design to the USDM amber diffusers, current version is replica of the JDM diffusers.

Dennis...the black guy finds the black shifter with free shifting. I'm sorry, I'm not gonna bite...das wasis!
Good catch, man...yeah, I ordered the chrome using prime first...meh, didn't like it...swapped to the black chrome like I have on the TL. Much better fit. Let me know what you think, man!

I love what you did with those headlights, I thought about doing the clear replacing the amber, but I like the amber on the silver car...at least for now. Maybe one day...I might need you to do your magic UV treatment to them and have you do them right the first time.

Personally, I am on the fence about a hard top - If my convertible top starts ripping and looks uglier than sin, maybe I"ll consider ponying up the dough and getting a replica.
I like the idea of having a convertible because whenever I get the slightest bit of boredom in my car, I drop the top and it's a whole new car all over again

I one billion percent agree, Tyler. I actually bought my car with the hard top on it and the previous guy had removed the soft top altogether. I spent 20 hours and about $500 to put it back in. The day I put the soft top back in, the hard top sat in the garage taking up valuable space. It's cool looking, but in the end, I couldn't justify passing up on the ex owner's text asking me if I'd sell the top to his buddy for $3200 cash money and he'd drive to me to pick it up. Cya...otherwise I'd have kept it for what? To put on to take pictures here and there or if it was really rainy out?
In Florida, it either rains in the morning or afternoon in the Summer so I'd still have 1/2 a top down trip option. The other challenge is my fiancee, was so scared and unsure of the awkward weight distribution and I'd watch the rear pin get eerily close to the paint every time she was helping me set the thing down or take it off. Fk that.
And I totally agree on being able to drop top and feel like a totally different car. I love it. I had the most happy feeling on the highway the other evening...top down, sun setting....I was elated just cruising in it. I'm a driver, I love driving...it's never about point a to b to me...it's the journey and I've never driven another car that has given me a happier feeling...not the TL, not any previous cars or even the S5 I drove for a week.
It's hard to explain how this little Honda with no torque can make you fall in love like that to someone that hasn't experienced it themselves.

I'm giddy it's Friday. I can't wait to get this fender back from being fixed...I miss driving her. I also ordered the OEM CR black S2000 badges based on Dave's recommendation. Be a good match to the black emblems I have on the front and back anyway.

cant beat $1300 from Forbidden.. and they are tried and true.
I LOVE the way the hard top makes the car look.
nothing cooler than a convertible RWD Honda though.. if I ever come across one used, I may pick it up just to have.. but I love the car topless way too much.
and it helps that I have a soft top that's in perfect condition.

Right...mine isn't "perfect" per se...but I did the bicycle chain guard on the scissor area, I put some canvas straps under the 2 main corner wear points, I sewed up (YES, myself!) a tear that was starting at the bottom, I put in the modifry straps and I did the aerospace soft top cleaning and water repelling product. In addition, I drive it probably 4 days a week and the TL 3. If I want hard top, I rock the TL.
IMO, having had OEM...quality can't be beat BUT...the flow of the lines of it aren't as good as the mugen rep in relation to the car.

also, anyone have an easier way to adjust the shock body on their coilovers than what I've been doing..
the control arms don't seem to want to compress down enough to allow more than 2-3 twist (raising). (even with both sides unbolted from the coilovers)
do I need to detach the upper control arm just to adjust the shock body more easily?
