With the bar and the sticky tires, this thing handles like you wouldn't believe.

I'll have to let you feel the difference next time you're around, Mark.

Tommy...RS3 FTW now that they are actually in at tirerack. I waited 2.5 months on my 225 fronts, had a set of 255 rears waiting.

You will love the grip, esp with a stiffer front bar ( I have a Saner)

Saner bar is nice. I couldn't find one or a Gendron bar, so I bought the thickest commercially available one. The Cusco is 1.25" solid, where others like the Eibach one, are the same diameter but hollow. Feels good so far but I haven't pushed it too hard and I am going to run less toe in the rear and more front camber, so that'll change the balance a bit.

A little S2000 history. I enjoyed this brief treatise on the life of the S2000 immensely. Hopefully, you will too.

I'm deciding on an exhaust. HKS Hi-Power Dual.... Anyone have any experiences with it in the s2000? I've watched lotsss of videos on it. I'd like to hear it in person but so far no one local has one/replied to me.

There's someone selling it locally but he already took it off...

25-26 mpg in mixed city-freeway driving. Lowest to date is 23 mpg. Highest was on my single road trip to the Dragon, 30 mpg, got almost 300 miles to a tank.

Well I did a grand total of 1400 miles this past 6 days. The S2K fits me, just barely in almost every dimension. Once I fiddled with the seat 'just right' I was able to drive a few hours in between stretches.

I took the car north of Boise which has some excellent twisty roads for pushing the car a bit. I also had a chance to do the same run the next day with my uncle in his '07 Miata for comparison.

I'm 6'3 and feel the same way. I'm gonna get the backyard special seat rail to lower it a bit and keep my quads off the steering wheel. I think an extra inch or so of room will really help

Yup, I've got a helmet (used when drag racing the V). I just need time and for my wife to be not afraid I'm going to die from an autocross course.

Just looked at the value of my 2002 S2000 with only 24k miles on KBB for giggles. Private sale value is now $19k! That's a little more than I paid for my car four years ago.

I know KBB values are inflated and I know it's the middle of convertible season, but this almost, ALMOST, makes me tempted to sell. Of course I really won't. Just sharing that prices for S2000s are appreciating more than they have in the past, and faster than I thought they would after the discontinuance of the model.

^ Which sucks for us on the outside looking in. Getting a clean, well maintained S2k will run into the $20s from what I saw

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

My wife would be worse, though, she'd be clawing her way through the passenger door with the car moving. That is, if she made it out the door with me. She'd rather stay home. Wuss!
