I'll be a nice guy and offer you $1500 USD. That's more than 40 times Ken's offer

I saw a red s2k for sale yesterday on my way home from dinner. Almost stopped but then I remembered that I'm not cool so I just kept on driving.

That's ok. Red really isn't your color. You're definitely more of a silver or blue or white kind of guy, anyway. Matches your eyes better

Although, I'm looking for a s2k for my kid. And you're not all that far behind in needing to do the same. You might just want to throw a tarp over it and wait.

I got the rear axle nut tsb job done today. Easy work with my 1/2 Milwaukee impact wrench with a deep impact socket. My 1/2 breaker bar was flexing and almost snapped, so I decided to use the impact and it was a breeze. I have the M18 Fuel that is rated for 1400 ft lb of torque, so it can be done without the 3/4 drive fellas.

What's the TSB?
There has been numerous cases where s2k owners have reported a clicking noise from the rear. Apparently, the rear axle nuts torque spec of 180 ft lb is not tight enough which can lead to premature failure of the rear wheel bearings. The TSB is to remove the rear axle nut, grease the face of nut and torque it back to factory spec of 180 and then another 60 degrees feom there. Folks on s2ki said it couldn't be done with a 1/2 drive regardless if impact or not, but I sure prpved them wrong.

I actually took it out Saturday, just been too busy to post up the occasion until now. It was in the 60's all weekend (and today it's near 70 so I took the day off to enjoy and massage some wood into useful shapes) so I had a good time driving it!
Yeah, we got 22 inches of snow last Saturday and it's 70 today lol. Should be all gone pretty soon here.

nice rides!
Sam, what tires are you rocking? I ask because of snow lol. looking good though!
I changed the coolant yesterday. Took longer than it should because I failed to close the reservoir cap during the bleeding process. Finally figured it out ten mins in lol.

We just had so much snow last weekend that it hasn't had a chance to entirely melt. There are parking lots with mountains of snow stocked in corners that are still huge even though it's warm out.

Negative, I'd never do that. Besides, my car is modded. Not sure what you're talking about with this OEM stuff. I just bought a new set of rims for snow tires and they won't be going on the Jeep or S2000 (obvs). S2000 has always had a shelf life...all will be revealed Monday/Tuesday next week
