Thanks bro. I have the volk wheel stickers on the barrel and on one spoke so adding a H in the mix is big no no

What leather cleaner/conditioner are you guys using? Mine is in dire need of some clean and condition action, especially after sitting all winter.

Lexol or Zaino does the trick. If the leather is real bad try leatherique. I did leatherique when I just bought the car but now I use lexol for routine cleaning.

It's not bad at all, just needs some love. Do you use Lexol for clean and condition or just clean?

It feels like all fucking winter lol. I'm just gearing up to get started driving again! Also, the interior of the Jeep is absolutely filthy with dirt, sand, salt, water, etc. It needs a really deep clean as soon as it gets nice out again. Before that, not worth the time.

Also, love that shirt haha.

she also after driving it that whole time was like "ohhh...that's so handy to have the diagram on the shifter, i hadn't noticed it and kept trying to remember"

I use Lexol for the Explorer. Used to use it for the TL. It works pretty well... No complaints.

I've read that some people said it's too slippery. I'm like, are you not working it into the leather.

Is it shiny when it dries? I hate that look. I've also seen Chemical Guys leather stuff is good too but I've been out of the detail game for a while.

Yup, I used leatherique on my BMW for years. Unfortunately it's expensive and hard to get your hands on it. Maybe I'll try and get some just to really get my interior up to snuff.

I know! I thought the Honda style shift pattern would be readily available... but they were anything but!

I also bought another set that looks like a turbo on each wrist.

well.. I had a turbo, lol.

and the thought of adding a turbo kit to the Nissan is still ever present. There's a guy in town that does some simply remarkable turbo kits for nissans/infinitis. Very well thought out, and he does some incredible welding work. This is one of his kits, installed:

Hnnnnnnnnnnnng.

work of art...wow...
gonna be a shame to do that and inevitably wrap it around a tree with all that extra power.
how much does it end up running you all in? $15K US, tuned and all?

the kit is (if I remember correctly) like $9700US. But then you need some supporting mods on top, and yeah, a tune. I think 13.5-15k US would be about right.

On stock internals, the 370 engine is able to handle around 600hp. It's actually the torque that destroys the engine. Anything approaching 500lbft is dangerous. I believe 450lbft is the highest safe torque number.

But I mean, the car weighs like 3200 pounds. With those numbers, yeah, trees might be hard to avoid. Definitely wouldn't let justn drive it afterwards

This guy is on stock internals, using one of the aforementioned kits. The kit builder mentioned he was pushing the limits of the stock internals. We'll see how long his setup lasts:

I'm James May, but without the hair.

Any hair, for that matter. I've started using a razor on my head. No, not a skinhead. Just coming to terms with losing my hair

Wow. Anyone with that turbo setup has to have developed a watertight butthole from how tight they must clench going over speed bumps.

Just bag it. Come to speed bump. Stop in middle of the road, air up, go over speed bump, air it back down.

It's well thought out. It doesn't hang lower than the body of the car. The exhaust is where the normal exhaust would be. A little bigger in diameter, but still tucked away. Nothing hangs lower than the exhaust on that setup.

What's cool with his fab work is that he creates jigs to make the pieces identical time and again. He's my hero.
