It is one of the major downside for s2000. AC dont work, car feel slow and top down is like baking.

The AC I can live with (I hardly use it TBH), but the heatsoak is kind of a PITA .. especially now that my commute is ~20mph the whole time and it has been in the high 80s / low 90s lately.

I think eventually I'd like to do a cooling system overhaul which would include a more efficient radiator & new hoes.

I refused to turn on my AC in my s2000 when it was 100 degrees and my gf was bitching about how stingy i am with my AC.

I did not even bother to explain to her how the car drives with heatsoak + AC on with her as she would just roll her eyes.

The struggle was real....Now, i blast that shit until she yells stop!

 

My GF always says:

"Can we take my car? The AC actually works"

That's what I did. I couldn't find a LBP that was in my budget so I went with Silverstone since I didn't want GPW, NFR, or BB.

My S2000's AC is cold as a ma'fucka. I turn that shit on during cool down laps at the track. Refreshing AF.

I would venture to say that my S2000's AC is colder than even that of a Lexus. Or...perhaps as cold as my heart.
