...not even one letter, huh?
actually...being rich later in life will be directly impacted by the decisions made now. pay off TL, use that $400/month to start a retirement fund. Buy S2000 cash along with traveling the world and drinking only the finest cognac at retirement time. Easy.

I have 401k, but whats left over is for spending... I might get hit by a fossilized poo clump from a 747 tomorrow.. and I don't wanna die from that poo clump without knowing I did what I could, when I could.

Yeah, true...there's a balance, obviously.
Well, if it's any indication, the only reason the S is gone was to pay back a loan on my 401K we took for the house. House, worth it...keeping the S and taking another 2 years to pay off the loan when $600 were being taken out of my check a month didn't make much sense to me. I loved the S very much but if I change how I looked at that...I wouldn't be willing have a $600/month payment on it. Make sense?

This thread is being pushed to the bottom thanks to the picture whore who sold his S2000

No real updates since swapping over my door - not thrilled about the paint matching but hey, looks better than a colossal sized dent in your driverside door.
Rocker panel repair will be done eventually, in the meantime a bandaid will do it:

I changed my oil last weekend - no real crazy oil consumption .. really haven't been pushing the car very hard because I feel the clutch is getting weak. I'm thinking of just going OEM, should be about a $900 job w/ the flywheel being resurfaced.
Stop smiling so much.

Met with a guy that had 17x9 +45 rpf1 all around.
He even had 25mm spacers up front.
And on that note. I'm changing to rpf1s
17x9 squared.
In sbc if I can find a set. Otherwise silver.

I was surprised. When I walked up I figured it was just the 17x9. And I said "that's why I didn't go with these wheels.
Then he told me how he was running 25mm up front and that when he first mounted the wheels alone he just needed a slight roll. Same with the rear.
They'll fit fine. I can change height and tires to fit safely. Can't wait.
His tires weren't really stretched either.

I'll only give you one piece of advice in reference to front S2000 fenders.
Once you fk them, you'll feel like a real fkng idiot and wish you'd have kept things reasonable.
+45 9" up front, fine...an extra 20MM but only a 215 tire just to be hella flush seems like the wrong direction to go in.

Oh, I know that...
as low as I was, I had no issues with that set up. My RS are actually for sale on CL and S2KI.
and that was sitting pretty low. Seemed like a good fitment setup...the old owner tracks his car and he was encouraging me to raise the car and go 245 all around.

Yeah, I moved this summer back to Portland which has 6 months of drizzle and grey skies. That's the one and only thing I miss about southern Oregon, it has about 10 months of sun. Even January was high 50's and sunny there.
