140K
I think you can rev past 5K now, she's broken in!

RS, looks good, man...lip past front fender, I couldn't swing that anymore, unless you're gonna keep it high enough not to tuck rubber. Either way, love it.

Ken...look into that stormsure stuff I bought...I stitched above to hold together...then put that stuff onto a piece of material (someone's old soft top material) from the inside with a piece of cardboard wedged in to keep pressure while it dried. Worked like a charm!

I'm surprised...the S2000 is probably the only place you'd see someone praise tan interior over black. I love the red/black...not a huge fan of the suzuka or full red. Tan does look cool, to me. On Rio though... Black is the only way to go.

I do kinda miss how classy Sebring looked, but at the same time...when I had it, I felt it was boring and wanted a car that popped a bit more for pictures and even just to stare at it while walking away in a parking lot. I it.

Moar low coming this weekend. Hopefully, oem rep spoiler, black honda badges, FIPK, Test Pipe, front strut bar...soon to follow.

Brake/Clutch/PS fluid swaps today or tomorrow. The Mityvac 7400 makes a fluid swap a piece of cake.

Tan only looks good on black, laguna, and white S2000's. Anything else and it looks like poo.

I nearly bought a white/tan one but it had a bunch of issues that I wasn't willing to deal with. Also had no records (dealer car).

The hunt continues...

I think tan looks good with NFR also. I've seen three ap2 NFRs with the tan interior swap.

RS, i gotta agree, the suzuka blue interior is not all that pretty. Reminds me of my dad's 1985 Chevrolet Citation that had a similarly colored interior. :bleh:

My close friend has a white '08 with the red/black interior. the car is such a flawless specimen- No rock chips, no wear and tear. He just bough red OEM floormats from Ireland for like $400 or something! It's originally from Texas with only 28k miles on the odometer. He plans on giving it to his child when he/she is old enough (his wifey is currently pregnant, lol). He was half the reason I bought the Miata- but he only drives the car from late May to late September.

^ Wish they had offered it in the US because I agree, imola Ap2 does look really good. Is that an '06 or '07?

No idea what year that imola AP2 is. I just snagged a pic off the net- looks to not be a North American model, because of the headlight washers in the bumper.

I've had the pleasure of seeing one up close. Same buddy with the white AP2 detailed an Imola one for one of his customers. It was simply marvellous to look at.

Imola was offered in Canada in 08-09 i believe

The picture is definitely not a U.S. Model for a few reasons

The side markers were clear only in '08-'09 and only with the CR.
The second piece of verbiage about the S2000 logo by the side marker wasn't available in NA
Those wheels are OEM wheels in '06 And '07

2007...only 34 ever made it to the US. I bet someone could sell an Imola in 1 day for $40K. Gorgeous fkng color...reminds me of my Blaze orange Metallic on my RSX. Only better...

Laguna, Moonrock, Rio...not much for red, although I was strongly considering NFR if my friend would have been selling it because it was pristine/one owner.

bro, no way.

Only way that would look ok is if the dash, carpet, console, etc were black and only the seats were tan. I guess it's easy enough to swap carpet and console though...

I wish they offered brown seats though or BMW cinnamon...

34 imola made it to Canada. Not the US. I would have sold my '05 berlina at the time if they had it available in imola here.

Did fresh Honda Dot3 on the clutch system...while I was at it, deleted the checkvalve us AP2's got stuck with...

Not night and day...but I definitely felt a more direct feel when shifting quickly. I love it...after doing it to my TL and knowing what it did to that driving experience, it was a no brainer.

Steering wheel is on the wrong side otherwise sign me up. I love blue/brown combos.

If the FoRS is offered with blue/brown (it won't), I'm doing that no questions asked.

I'm in the same boat. I prefer buying a stock car if I'm buying used. Only exception would be if I know the owner. In the case of the '04 NFR I knew the owner. Bob does too actually

Transmission fluid? I used to use synchromesh as well. It's good. Now I just use the OEM stuff and I'm ok. I change it more than necessary anyway. Lol
Oh and if anyone asks, I use Mobil 1 for diff fluid and Motul (forget which one) for brake fluid. Mobil 1 for motor.

Thanks, man...
I did OEM MTF Tranny, Redline 75W90 Diff, OEM Brake/Clutch, Mobil 1 oil/filter...

I ordered two more quarts of AC Delco syncromesh...probably worth the 45 minutes to swap it. I really do love what it did in my TL.

That's what I'll be doing soon. Well, once the weather breaks and spring finally shows up. Since I'm not doing the dragon this year I'm in no big rush to prep the car this year. Besides, I am not sure what is going on with my seats since Recaro had a global recall on Pole Positions.
