From the videos I've watched, just about anything strapped to the headers of this car will sound good

I have only driven the 6mt in the 135i. I know the shift nob is smaller on the 1 series but I am pretty sure the transmission is identical.

They're the same. The manual's shift knob is like ~1/4" shorter, so I guess the throws feel a little better. The AT's feel exactly the same to me.

Love the V8 sound. I like the Remus and Eisenmann race exhausts a lot, if I had to choose I honestly wouldn't be able to pick unless I heard it in person. They both sound great but whats with the fitment on the Remus???

The Sport is way too quiet though

Not sure of invoice pricing. It's about 2K below MSRP.

Then not a good deal.

Should be able to get them for $500 over invoice. Add up your options using the wholesale price sheet.

BMW's sales just fell a billion percent YOY ... They've had the world by the ass for such a long time now that dealers are going to be having out of body experiences coming to grips with the fact that people aren't going to pay sticker for a BMW anymore.

It's weird, I'm no pushover when it comes to making deals. I was sitting with a salesman on Sat (I was also talking 1-series) and he gave me a price around 37,900. I told him I already got a price of 37 even from another deal and he told me to go buy it. I was like

ROFL ... Go buy it and then go back and ask the salesdonkey where the service department is so you can set up your first appointment for your 135i you bought.

Fuck him. I hope he ends up shoveling shit which is probably the only job he's qualified to do.

Opinions appreciated on this deal:
CPO 2007 BMW 335i with 16,1XX miles (has premium or cold weather package)
Price: $33,995.00

I'd like to offer $29-$30k with $3k down + my trade-in. Could I possible go lower or is the $29-$30k range a "decent" offer? This car has been sitting in the lot since Dec08/Jan09.

How badly does the dealer want to sell it?

The only thing I don't like is the headlights, and eyelids solve that problem nicely

The price in Jan 09 was $35,995.00 and was decreased $2k in 1.5 months. They still have quite a few 08's left and tons of 09's in the lot. I would buy an 08, but they don't have AW or Montego Blue in stock.

Coupe? Options? You said premium or cold. Auto/Manual? Need the specifics.

Price sounds high regardless. I paid under 30K for my 2007 coupe with 6K miles, auto premium, heated seats, active steering, comf. access, backup sensors. No CPO. And that was 3 months ago.

Does no CPO mean anything bad about the car, like something didn't pass an inspection?

I replied to your PM. The 90 days it has been sitting there is a huge point in your negotiation. You'd be stealing it for 25K. Figure a fair price to settle is in the low $27s.

That is a lot of mileage for 27k, Eric got an 07 for a hair under 30k with 6k miles. I would say to start with an offer of 24k and go up from there.

For some reason I completely ignored the 39K miles. Ooops. Shit, it's almost out of warranty due to those miles.

There is raping and pillaging going on in the used German auto market right now.
