I haven't been able to drive it that much since I bought it. I've only put about 500 miles on it in two months since I got it here.

But when I drove it today, I enjoyed it. I'm going to drive the shit out of it this weekend

How would the leasing deals on the last year 3 series around August? One of my friends is planning to lease a fully loaded 2011 328i sedan this coming August. She doesn't care about the new generation. When is the new ones start coming out anyway? Sorry, I didn't read the thread.

No clue on lease rates, they hard to predict with BMW. They stopping production on the E90 Sedan in September. New 3series wont be here in the States till around March 2012. So that inventory needs to last them all those months. Might not even need to have low lease rates if thats the case.

I family friend recently picked up a bmw 328i
and i was talking to a couple of my uncles and it came up what happens if you get a blow out, and not some small hole in your tire? You have no choice but to call for service and get your car towed right?
Or is it every unlikely that your tire will be damaged to an extent that it wont need a tow?

Because if that happens to a regular car you can put the spare on it and go, and you dont have to worry about how many miles you are getting towed and what not, I dont think AAA offers unlimited towing miles right?

Depends how bad the blow out is. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...hlight=runflat

BMW has free roadside assistance as well.

ohh yea totally forgot about that thread!

There was one other question i had about the 3 series.

I drove my friends 2010 328i, is the steering suppose to be really heavy at low speeds, like parking lot speeds?

well i guess the original buyer didnt opt for that option then. That seems like something they should make standard.

Uh no. Sounds like you need to go to the gym if the steering wheel is too heavy for you.

it just makes things easier.

I dunno, I drove it once, never felt something like that before, thats why I posted here to make sure its like that. Its my friends car and she bought it used so I was just confirming thats how it should be.
I'd still take a bmw anyday of the week.

BMW fuglified the front of the 3 sedan; good thing they still haven't messed up the 3 coupe's looks.

Seems like a lot of people (including auto journalists) hate Active Steering, but all the people who actually have it love it. I don't have it on my car but I'd be curious to drive a car that has it and see what the hype/hate is about.

Seriously? I always have a knee-jerk reaction when I see a "fan" of a particular brand, trying to pump the brand up once again. (as if BMW needed it)

First of all try finding a 335IS for under 50K, Good luck with that. In my area, I can't even find a 335 for that.

Second of all...how many of those 50000 voters have actually driven a reasonable sampling of the cars listed? Probably 5.

Just do as most people do with SSFTSX..... straight to the ignore list.

Plus, comparing a 335is to a 2.0T A5, an Accord and a GTI? the discrepancy is so huge it makes me itch.

You obviously didn't figure it out by yourself, but the following comments were from Autoweek/Fantasy Camp participants who drove all of these cars.

How did the 335is even get into this comparison? It's not under $50k. Base MSRP is $51k and goes up to $60k+.

They must think that's a valid comparison with a $28k GTI

how is 28k for a 5 series with the n54 engine a bad deal? He's got most of the packages as well, in Canada the same car goes for high 30s to low 40s without tax

^^ Exactly. Normally that question is asked prior to the purchase

Just enjoy the car and if you left $1000 on the table, oh well.
