They're nice, but I can't help but think they're meant for an Audi

Yes they were a custom order. I can find out from the owner if he remember the fabric code if you want.

Fan clutch failure and overheating FTMFL.

I can only hope that I caught it in time. I have a bad feeling I blew the head gasket. I'm afraid about a cracked block too

Thanks. Me too. If the engine is trashed, it's sitting until I can comfortably get the cash together to swap in a M3 motor.

I am really pissed off at the mechanic I sent the car to for the PPI. He completely missed the obvious trailing arm bushings being shot and now the parts he supposedly replaced crapped out w/in two years (at the most).

Doubt he knew though, didnt the previous owner only have the car for a few months?

Trailing arm bushing should have been caught though. Ah the joys of E36 ownership.

That sucks to hear. I hope it's not too bad. Did you pick the mechanic based on recommendations? Was there a "warranty" on his check?

Crazy why not got HID for angle eyes? For my E60 I am planning on getting the HID angle eyes.... Lux does not make a kit for the E60. Is LUX CCFL LED or normal LED?

Question for the M3 and BMW experts...did BMW release a limited flat-black M3? Cuz, the local dealership has one on the floor and well, it was -worthy...

LUX has the best reviews with no issues with them. Plus isnt xenon too bright? I didnt want the rings washed out. I think these are normal LEDs. More info in that link i posted.

With a kid coming possibly mid-next year...the wife takes over the FX and I just may want a new chariot.

The new X3 is indeed not bad! But, if you price it out fully...you may as well get a 5er.

Mmmm...choices.

Anyhow, back to the 3-Series chatter!

Just a 535, Herr M3. Nothing too up there. We'll just have one V8 in the garage.

I thought the Frozen Gray was a limited run of 30 cars?

Are these colors you have to order through their Individual Program? How much extra are they?

I think canada was able to get then easier?

Not a CSL, but a LTW. Extremely rare though to see them come up for sale. My buddy has one that he found at a government auction of all places. They're nice, but I always laugh at cars like this were you pay more for them to give you less in the car.

Yeah, you're paying for the rarity and "uber-ness".
