Majofo empty some PMs. Since you cross shopped the F and the V I just want to know you think the handling compared on them.

I'm over my limit.. so many nudez.
Honestly, I didn't get a lot of seat time in the F. I will say that the V feels substantially heavier, but feels so flat on the turns like it's on rails. The MR shocks are very responsive. The ride stiffness is almost the same, except sport mode. You can definitely feel a big difference in the V, everything stiffens up, it's glorious (just not on bumpy roads).
The only negative is the V is a little too good in the corners. Yesterday stabilitrak must have been cursing at me. It fought me around a corner to stay compliant (from a stop). I might have got on the throttle a little too early (right as I was flattening out), but you could feel it doing it's thing to not oversteer. Oversteer might have been nice..
I think you'll have a lot of fun in the V. Thing is a freight train too. It pulls hard all the way through and stays almost as drama-free as a GT-R doing so, but definitely requires you to be a little more awake. See if you can rent one or get a good test drive soon (a real one, not around the block). I took my buddy and his 2 year old with me when I test drove the V. The V made a lasting impression on both.. probably the salesman too.

The suspension I will probably always drive in sport mode I can imagine. I like a stiff suspension ride as I am running the F on 14k/12k coils right now.
I don't know how much the coupe will compare besides for the engine but that is the closest V to me around here. I am going to try and get a test drive of it this weekend and yes definitely going to ask for something more than around the block or not even bother wasting my time. I actually have a route I like to drive a lot in the F that I am going to tell them I want to take. Would make for a nice 20-25min test drive.
Actually I am not really worried about that. The F was supposed to be a car that didn't get modded. Then I hit a dear and was without the TSX for 2 years so well I got the mod itch and then things started happening on the F. If I get the V since I have the TSX back I would do most modding to the TSX as it still has a ways to go for what I want to finish. The V would definitely get intake, exhaust, lowered, and possibly wheels but that would most likely be it. I don't think I will own any car though without those things.

Bob how does your Vagon handle in the snow? I will have dedicated snow tires for it but would like to be able to take it on my ski trips in the winter. Is there to much power for that at this point? I could always do it with the F but it didn't have this much power.

Well good once you have them all figured out and I finally find me one I can have you explain them all to me.

That is interesting. I can push the F as hard as I want including using the gas through the corner and never letting off and have never gotten it to break lose on me at all. I honestly have never had a car that I could make step out on me so I will definitely have to be careful for a while till I learn how to deal with it.
Honestly, even though it has gone sideways on me a few times. With TC and Stabilitrak on, you probably couldn't get yourself in a whole lot of trouble. Long wheelbase, sticky tires, weight, balance, plus stability and traction control.. more than enough to keep the ponies in line.

^^^ Good to hear cause I want fun power and I do want to learn to control it with those little things off at some point but I also want to know on a regular basis it will keep it self in check while still being loads of fun.
Has anyone seen Black Diamond in person? Does it look dusty at all with all the flake in person? Also would you worry about never being able to have the front bumper repainted because it would be so hard to match with all that flake?
With the superchargers being covered under warranty for so long regardless of owner I assume that is completely voided if someone has put on a heat exchanger and upgraded the pulley on the blower. If so maybe I should make sure to find a completely stock one.

As for the mod stuff... that is why I'll probably stay with some basic bolt-ons (intake, exhaust) for now. It's not that I'm worried about the SC b/c honestly, it affects so few that I'm not too concerned, but at the same time I want to shake out this new (to me) car first to make sure everything is running nice nice for a while before I start doing stuff that could work against me. I figured I have that extra protection from GM, so why mess with it? Car is plenty fast now. And with an intake and exhaust (and possibly TB), it will be a bit quicker and more than I'll need on the road... so a pulley, headers, etc. can wait...

The next mod I'm thinking of doing is audio. TexASS.. and wheels.

I have seen Black Diamond in person and as you know, one of my favorite colors. I am not sure about the repaint issue but that is a good point. Maybe snoop around the CTS-V forms to see if anyone with a black car had a hood or something painted?

I also have made the mistake at looking at some interior mods. The custom carbon interior pieces by OCarbon are gorgeous. Very tempting stuff down the road since I have carbon in the F and love the look of it.
