That's way better than saying it after the fact. Was cruising with the wife last week in the V when a sweet phantom grey Vagon cruised by.. Wife was like, we should have spent more and got the Vagon. wtff!?!

No regrets though.. if you want an even jump with little money on top from the p-car to V.. I'd definitely check out the coupe and sedan. I've seen several nice Vs sell in the low 30s. I'll keep a lookout.

Yeah, I'm not in a huge rush. I could always trade the Porsche for a Lotus and wait it out in that since those aren't really depreciating much either

I pulled along a mocha steel V in traffic this morning. It was bumper to bumper, but he gave me space to merge over. Vbros! I shot him the shaka.

It's a pretty sweet sedan. I think it's the perfect blend, of course the vagon is the vagon.

I loved my sedan and I still think it looks good. The entire 2G CTS-V line just looks so aggressive, so badassed, so "get outa my way, foo!". Looks good, Majofo! ....and about time we got a pic.

Unfortunately, the new 3G V is perfect in the front--nice and aggressive.....and a mild poodle in the rear. WTF, Cadillac?

Some daytime pics of the new splitter:

Early AM:

Later in the day, with more sun changes the color somewhat, kind of like OBM itself. The blue really pops in the sun, again, like OBM. Looks great!

Always loved ur old V Neuron....ur 09 sedan was the reason i searched for a V last year and ended up grabbing a one owner 09.

After 19k miles in 11months only repairs i've had to do were replacing 4 tires and boost valve. Still on the original supercharger with non solid isolator.
I have only seen one opulent unicorn in my area and they are gorgeous in person

I wish it were that easy!
Only thing I couldn't deal with is the low MPG. I know...I should be slapped for even mentioning it.

I think Bob has his mpgeess down to a science. I on the other hand am like.. I just filled this thing yesterday?!?!

Even when I'm cruising, not getting on the throttle and such, I kind of lose my attention to speed and acceleration. Going 70+ definitely defeats any fuel savings, plus even quarter-half throttle feels numb yet I'm moving faster than when I would get on it in the TL. I giggle in the V, it's not always visceral, and I still feel disconnected at times because it's that good.

I definitely mind my manners though. Even stock with TC on, it needs to be respected on the street. In the s2k and even the TL, you probably feel a better connection. The s2k might be a little more visceral too. Even though I'd beat the pants off you.

Would it really be "beating" though?
Since I'd let you?!?

Well, owning Betty's SRX getting 22MPG tells me you COULD do okay with the MPG, but I wouldn't. Damned heat, 90% Ethanol in Florida...and Speed limit 70 meaning you always go 80+ to stay with traffic would mean I get 12 MPG, average. I mean, probably worth it for the smirk to light up all the smug aholes that think they're faster and aren't...

Even though it's not fast...there's something about that first acceleration when pulling away from a light, even just normal driving...must be the lightweight car. Effortless.

From a stop, the V is maniacal.. need to roll out a little or start in 2nd at least.
The daily commute is 70, 75 speed limit. Depending on traffic, passing lane is at least +75. There are some stretches where 85-90 is normal cruising speed.. and on certain stretches where 85 mph is the speed limit or remote stretches of I10, 100 is normal, usually no tickets as long as you don't go faster.

A few weeks ago, late in the evening, I had some derp in a lifted F350/450 dually tailgate me as I was passing on the left. Dude was rude, so I put the pedal down and it was light speed. I could barely see his headlights in my rear view after a few seconds. Then moved over to the middle lane.. nice and slow.

I bet that feeling alone was enough to make it all worthwhile...
Damn...you are definitely not NOT making me want one any worse. Maybe some time in the next few years as residual pricing drops. I can be patient. I don't know why but I create this fake sense of urgency as if they're all gonna fall off the edge of the world soon.

You should just stay away from this thread, craigslist (you can still browse personals), cars[dot]com, fleabay motors, etc.

Most of these TX eDealerships take the hassle out of it. Some even honor CARMAX + money on top without even looking at it.

Check out vRoom.. they do free shipping, returns, warranty, plus trades.
Vroom Certified Used Cars & Trucks nationwide from Dallas

They don't have any V's at the moment, but they get a steady stream of sport cars.

I saw a low mileage V in Houston.. but it's a test vehicle so comes branded.
It is nicely modded with headers, intake and exhaust. Not bad if you intend on keeping her forever. Otherwise, stay away.

OH, I read the ad. Fk that, not at that price....maybe at under 25k but to have a salvage, then rebuilt title for only 5K less than other options...

Branded means title isn't clean. It's a test vehicle, it was never wrecked. I think it's an okay deal for someone out there considering condition, miles, year, and mods.

Found a nice auto vagon (no recaro) too. I'd be looking for an auto and honestly, don't care about the Recaro seats. But need to sell the Porsche first

You wouldn't have to drive it hard if you got the M3..

.. or does you mean yo ass hits a lot of stationary objects on the road and the M3 is expensive to fix.. I understand that.
