People with weath and around people with wealth usually try to down play it. Not try to beat in you head directly or indirectly how much you've spent on a car, etc.

 

Why did Abcdecanc#1 disappear as soon as Majofo mentioned his previous screen name. If I was write from my earlier skepticism I want a full on written and notarized apology from OP for trying to lead us astray.

Aside from those 2 posts that state that spending over 100K for a car would be nuts only 9 months ago. I still stand by the first thing that stuck out to me...spending 400K on a car, when your home is only 1.5M (not ONLY, but ONLY for a rich person) and you drive a 40K TL and wifey drives a 30K Pilot.

NOTHING wrong with that life, I love it and hope to have it one day...but if you're that financially responsible with a home and other car purchases, then it doesn't indicate to me that you'd be the type to go plop a deposit on a 1/2 Million dollar car and wait patiently until February for it.

 

He has a 2011 TL and based on his other threads his other rich friend buddies decided to get a 2010 TL and another has a 2012 TL. He is interested in how to drive his TL fast (ala racing it) even though he is pissed a guy in his neighborhood was basically racing his BMW down the street. Other stuff...

 

His home is only worth 600k

lose 150k+ on your home, "buys" an LFA, claim you're a smart investor, prefers 2011 TL over '12, wanted a Crown Vic, thought about a 370z late last year, stated any car over 100K is a terrible investment. Cool story.

For someone who is "new" to the forum scene, the OP also had the knowledge/technical ability to disable his PM. For someone who doesn't know forums, what reason would they have to disable PMs, and how would they even know that they were there in the first place?

Unless of course he has been here before and his inbox was trashed with people calling him out.
