Anyhow, no issues here. We'll take your lead, astro....

. I gave H some info that's not in this thread. Whether or not the OP has an LFA on order wasn't the point of the shenanigans. OP hasn't violated the terms of membership, nor does he have to disprove the info I've gathered but it definitely looks like the same member who deleted their acct.. a Mr. Moneyman2011. My info has personal information so I didn't post it here. Otherwise I would have.
OP you know you can just say i'll show proof when it comes, you dont have to give in to posting an order slip. Also you shouldnt get butt hurt from people you dont know on the internet. Just play along and come february you can have a picture with a caption "all you bitches can go to hell

Yummy is a great mod as all of them are (I judge greatness by the number of times they have put me in check, they all have, many times)

And collecting the skin of dead hookers is NOT a hobby
R&D costs over the last 10 years is a drop in the bucket compared to how much money they will make going forward.. Plus residual licensing of their cf weaving process and tools may generate them extra revenue. Their next gen is reportedly going to be 2x the price, if not more.. and will compete with the likes of the new Enzo. IMO, Toyota is off to a great start.
500 cars at $400,000 a piece (that's being generous, but realistic as well) = $200,000,000. There's reports it costs around $1 million to build them after the development costs of the last 10 years are said & done, which (if true) means we're looking at $500,000,000 just to build the entire production line. A loss of $300,000,000 while small in Toyota's bank account, is not one they are going to make back & then some within' any significant amount of time, esp. considering that $300 million loss doesn't factor in the money spent on a decade of research & development, just the cost to build the car.
The LFA is nothing different from the Veyron; an engineering feat done only to show the world what Toyota was capable of. The difference is that VAG will make their money back much faster to offset the Veyron costs as long as they continue to make $2 million+ one-off models for customers. Toyota doesn't have that kind of market though the Nurburgring & the newer Nurburgring model are good first attempts.
As for the LFA's successor to compete with the likes of the new Enzo, forgive me if I seem very skeptical. The LFA at $145,000 more is still behind the Enzo's grandson. I can't see Toyota managing to develop the LFA successor to rival Ferrari's next supercar without insane amounts of money being dumped into it, whilst Ferrari make every cent back knowing they'll be able to ask $1 million+ for it.

It's a car built to showcase what they can do, so I wouldn't doubt a $1 million tag to build each one. Hell, it costs Bugatti $5 million to build 1 Veyron, not including the 10 years of development. $5 million simply covers the cost of materials needed & build time.

I can't imagine price of materials and labor would be so much. Damn..

Well, far be it from me to tell you how to run things, but (were I a mod) I would have appreciated the courtesy of a behind-the-scenes warning (or at least an effort to get my side of the story) before the public reaming. But, perhaps, that's just me.

Enough with the BS. OP I would suggest no longer posting in the thread. It will die a quick death as the llamas graze to another thread.
That was me. My bad. I turned around for a second to grab his dinner after unlocking the door to the cage and he got out.
Ran right out the front door and almost got hit by a car.
Then he chased the UPS truck up the street and I never saw him again.

^^^I actually thought that too...but I guess for the true car enthusiast etc...Ferrari will say that they're owners would miss the feeling of turning the key to hear the motor crank rather than giving into the push start button like your'e turning on a microwave.

This is starting to remind me of that one guy a while back that said he is a swinger even though he is married and is the breadwinner bringing home all the money and makes all the decisions for his wife etc.
