Lexus LFA
Maybe we should appoint one of us AZine members to be an official mediator sent to confirm or deny if the LFA purchase actually happens? I'll vote for myself since Rock Star is a little too stalkerish with his requests.

Abcdecanc#1, I can tell from your sincere confusion that you are probably telling the truth. The only thing you have going against you is the rampant displays of thread making from compulsive liars. There really are people who make up stories, actually believe them themselves, and try to convince others to believe them as well. All the rest of the nonsense that you are seeing here is just inside humor from the old farts of AZine in all their "wisdom".
I believe you, or at least I want to believe you. That car is really freaking sweet, and I have to say that I am jelly. Still, the only way to truly prove that all of this is real is if you take a picture of yourself and your wife in front of a blue LFA with plates in your driveway while you hold an AcuraZine sign and your wife holds a stick of butter.
It's the only way.
1000 rep points will be awarded if you get your wife to butter her nipples for the picture.

that's the same info they've been regurgitating since 2010.http://www.egmcartech.com/2010/06/02...en-spoken-for/
read here for current info, including it's production into 2013.

I hear what you are saying loud and clear. I guess I am a tad green. Every word I have said is 100% accurate, so if there are still some doubters, I can't help that. I am now wishing it were February already. Maybe I should have started this thread after delivery and said "ta-da"! Lesson learned. To the rest of you, please keep this stuff to a minimum if you don't mind. I would appreciate it. Thanks
, I'm quite yellow.
Just sayin....

In any case, I didn't hear a disapproval of the picture evidence, so I will take that as confirmation we will get the pic, and I look forward to your accumulation of rep points.
I said this before and I am saying it again. I will NOT do that.
You really have no reason to prove anything to anyone on the Interwebz. It is unfortunate that enough people have lied to the point that people have to be suspicious of such threads. If we believe and you're lying, we are gullible. If we don't believe and you aren't, then we are tools for raining on your exotic parade. Either way, you should not be anxious for Februrary to prove us wrong; you should be chewing nails and pulling hair for having to wait 7 excruciating months for your badassness.

Thank you for your comments. If I could have it now I would, but not to prove to anything to any of you. Quite honestly I was not sure I was going to make this purchase when I started the thread. Experiencing it and thinking about it, motivated me to do it. Part of the mystique of buying an exotic car is waiting for it to arrive. The build and selection process is part of the fun. There are other things that are going on between me and Lexus that I am afraid to share at this point as I truly am not enjoying how this thread is going, and I really don't want to have to endure more of the "prove yourself" conversation. I am not whining, but guys this is not enjoyable. I am trying to keep this at a higher level as I do not know what most of you are talking about with the forum language.
I was going to pm you but you are not receiving them.
So...the guys on this forum have no malicious intent. They are just pulling your leg, and pushing you, to see if they can get a rise out of you. It's all in good fun.
My advice to you....don't post in this thread until you have info that you want to share. It's that simple. The gang here is going to have fun no matter what "level" you want to remain on. <----bad grammar.
Enjoy the car buying experience that you've begun. Post pics when you get it.

Abcdecanc#1, I told you why there would be skepticism (as the original skeptic on the thread). You're a good guy and I enjoy your posts. You have nothing to "prove" to anyone so just have a sense of humor about it...no way around it, people will give you a hard time until they see the butter/bacon.
Personally, I don't see a big deal with blurring the personal information and showing the purchase commitment or something to make us all eat our words. You getting defensive about it and playing ignorant to what is being said and internet talk is feeding the fire. It's exactly what the other guy did...

I'm just saying, If I was in his position, I'd GLADLY post more concrete evidence to make the skeptics eat shit. Know what I mean? Why drag it out till February?
No one twisted his arm to create this thread, he did so all on his very own. So when he is questioned and asked for proof, he says NO. Makes sense.
At Least add your name to this list:

How do they explain 4 of these examples with nothing but delivery miles?

I will post the passing video of me on a two lane road on August 1st as I have to wait for the new month on Flicker, providing we can stop the questioning stuff. Also I have a video of me getting stuck behind another Lexus in traffic getting a little frustrated that I'm in a super car and am stuck behind slow ass drivers.
The ball is everyone's court now. Again, I don't know anything about the other guy you are referencing. I am going to heed the advice of another member and not get into it anymore if more skeptical conversation continues to surface.

Hmmm...Ok. I guess that's taking the high road. Bah...it's the interwebz, who even cares. Just post up more links/vids/pictures of whatever you do come across. The LFA is a car I'd be interested in being kept up to date on.

I think that the LFA is a great car. With that being said it's hard to ignore the fact that you could purchase a 458 Italia and a Panamera for about the same price. That's a car for you and the misses and a car for the family. Just a thought.

What Panamera are you going to buy for $350,000?!?
