Been wandering around, getting some great information from this forum for several years and finally made up my mind and decided to purchase the 2015 TLX SH-AWD Advance last night and I'm posting a new thread for the first time as Acurazine member.
Coming from a 2007 TSX Tech, it seemed like a logical upgrade to the TLX.
Since the dealers are trying to get rid of the 2015 models, I was able to get mine for $37,738 before tax and other fees, $41,770 out-the-door (I hope and I believe that it was a good deal).
As you may have seen from other threads, dealers are currently offering an incentive that is not advertised of $2250 off from invoice on SH-AWD Advance models. Also, I was able to negotiate the current APR offer of 2.9% down to 1.9%, but I guess that depends on your credit score as well.
I've been doing a lot of research in cars within the $35k to $60k (from Honda Accord Touring to Lexus GS AWD) and decided that the TLX SH-AWD Advance is car with best value considering its performance, fuel economy, great SH-AWD system, ride comfort, and driver assistance features.

We currently don't have any specifics on what the changes would be in the '16 model, but most likely there's not going to be any major changes in the second year of production, so I just hope that this helps out whoever is contemplating about getting the '15 TLX make a better decision before the '16s come out and go back up to normal price again.

 

They put out a press release about the 16's. It's completely unchanged until 2017. The only real difference is that they're probably discontinuing selling the V6 FWD in Canada (slow seller here).

 

When the 16s actually reach the lots, do you think the price of the 15s will go down or up?

 

Yet people are still suggesting the 2016 will be different in the other forum... Something under the hood... Doesn't make sense. They'll probably put in whatever parts they were putting in the most recently produced 2015s. That means no changes necessary at factory etc.

 

the price of the '15s will probably stay the same as what you can get for now, but obviously you won't be able to negotiate much for the '16s until later

 

If the 16's will go for near MSRP, then it's obvious it's a better deal to get a '15 at the prices out there. Most likely, dealers are OK taking a loss to clear inventory at this point...and when you couple that with the $2250 carryover incentive from Acura, it's solid.

The $2250 thing goes until September 30...not sure if it will be renewed.

 

 

Can the $2250 incentive be applied to a lease?

Also, is there a thread or site to keep up with the all the incentives?

I don't have any information on leases, but as for purchase, the current incentives are as follows (per my salesperson):

$2250 below invoice for V6 SH-AWD
$2000 below invoice for V6 PAWS
$1500 below invoice for everything else.

 

I just purchased my new TLX on Friday. I was shopping around last month and the difference in price was incredible.

NOW is the time to buy a 15 since the 15 is no different than the 16.

When I say incredible I mean it went from borderline unaffordable to a deal I would be dumb to refuse.

How much did you get off msrp

 

I got the car for 4000 under original MSRP even after adding remote start, led fog lights and body side moldings. original msrp price did not include those accessories.

 

I was waiting to buy until my other car sold. It took about a month and in that time they had come down on both the I4 base I was looking at and they had a 6k miles V6 base for even less so I bought that. $27,596.00 V6 Base. I do 6k miles in 4 months, and the car is really no different than new to me. I like having all that depreciation washed out of there.

They were also discounting everything else on the lot, trying to move out those 15s, so I agree, now really is a good time.

 

I didn't think they still offered this. Did they offer this or did you negotiate it? Did you have to trade in the car to get it?

 

Seems to be only on leases.

 

There's a 7 day sale ending this Wed in Canadia right now. -$6250 for TLX if anyone is interested. Sub $40k TLX Advanced is very competitive.

 

Leased my TLX Elite Sh-AWD (silver slate) at the end of August. Had rebate of 2500 from Acura and 500 from dealer, plus extra discounts for being a previous owner.

Got it for 47050 instead of MSRP of 49600 (before tax). Included with that price:
- Michelin Pilot Supersports (1000)
- Tinted windows (400)
- Spoiler (550)
- Rear mud flaps (180)

Leased it for 30 months at 0%. Prefer to buy it, but deal was very good and I don't really like first year models.

Coming from a 2007 TL Type S and 2012 TL FWD, I must say I'm enjoying the TLX . Gas mileage is great!
