It's not too big of a deal though, I always open my trunk either with the key or the trunk release in the driver compartment. Assuming the car has one or both of those, I would never use that.

not all cheap cars have that though, well trunk release on remote, maybe now. But the other day I was helping a friend load up his corolla and he had to stick the key in the trunk lock to open it.

The color combo. doesn't help at all. But, the aero design gives you a good idea of how Lamborghini will intend to shape the SV whenever it comes down the pipeline.

So I've had this annoying problem pop up, thats not bad that I know of. Anyway, when I turn the car on theres this clicking or knocking sound thats coming from behind the A/C controls on the side of the glovebox. It lasts for 30 seconds and turns off. It will also happen whenever I turn the A/C off. Not the fan, but specifically the A/C. Lasts for like 20-30 seconds again and goes away. Really weird.
I just tell people there's a leprechaun in my glovebox.
I'm curious as to what it is though. Its not coming from the blower, at least I dont htink so, the sound would come from under the glovebox then. So I can't think what it possibly can be.

Question - Was GM trying to set the World Record for largest taillights on a production sedan when they produced the Oldsmobile Alero? I saw three of them on the road today (strange, I know) and it just reminded me HOW MUCH of the rear end of that car is consumed by the taillights.

I like the plaid seats in the VW. I wouldn't go clamoring for it in every car though.
Then again I don't like leather. Ease of upkeep is a small benefit, I don't have dogs or kids. I don't like getting stuck to my seat in hot weather or having tears or creases develop within a few years.
My ideal seats will always be some sort of faux suede/alcantara with good bolstering a la Recaro. Feels nice, looks good, doesn't mimic the weather like leather.

still have a soft spot for these:
First Recaros I've ever sat in (Integra Type-R). They were just perfect. And those are probably ~15 years old.

If you plan on driving for more then 2hrs at a time, pray that you don't do it in the FR-S/BRZ seats. They are painful.

The Engine Of The World's Next Fastest Car Lives And Has 1,350 Horses
The Bugatti Veyron Supersport has 1,200 horsepower and can go 267 MPH. The Hennessey Venom GT has 1,244 horsepower and can go 265. That's what the SSC Tuatara will have to beat when it goes into production. And with 1,350 horsepower on premium gas, it's on its way.
SSC just finished testing the engine on a dyno, and the final power figures are staggering. It makes 1,350 horsepower and 1,280 pound feet of torque. To put that into perspective, that's 10 1996 Miatas (my standard unit of measurement) in one car.
It can also run up to 1,700 horsepower. That's nearly 13 1996 Miatas of power in one car. Holy schmoly (sorry for the technical jargon).
SSC says they tested the car at even more extreme levels than it would ever see at its anticipated top speed of 275 MPH, and it didn't blow up. Not even once.
That's a pretty good start to become the fastest car in the world.

I actually was noticeably not a fan of the Miata measurement... I mean I read that and was pretty annoyed by that lol. If I think of 10 Miatas it just doesn't seem to give me any real relation to the power another car is producing. I'm just like in my head like, so? so what? 10 Miatas? Miatas are slow cars. lol

what I meant was, in a world where manual trannys are vanishing, I'm glad they are still offering the option.
