Cool car, but for that money Id rather get an RX7 or even a Supra if I were going with a 90s sports car.

I just don't get why there's so much crap on that car. The whole thing looks like it drove straight off the pages of a comic book...errrr, graphic novel. They could probably save 1,000 lbs. just by getting rid of that front bumper (okay, there might be some hyperbole in there).

No doubt that thing is mega-fast, but I'd never want to look at it (or sit it in, for that matter...Camaro interior = ).

I am not a huge fan of it either but graphic novel seems to be what they were going for ... Heavy and outlandish.

That said, it is a beast.

There is a VW dealership nearby that has, according to their website, several VW Golf TDIs on the lot (both manual and DSG). I am very interested in this car as my next vehicle, potentially next year.

It's been near forever since I have test driven a car ( > 6 years) and when I did, I was super serial about purchasing at the time.
I showed interest in the GTI recently and asked for a test drive. Told the sales member i'm still looking around and if i could get a card and I'll call him. He never called me even though he took my number.

Perhaps it may no surprise to some, but I really like the new ZL1. It is the best all-rounder in its price range when it comes to new cars. The 2013 GT500 is undeniably faster in a straight line but the ZL1 is more composed on the track (according to Randy Pobst) and from many other reviewers, it is very well mannered and easy to drive on the street.

I do believe it is the lowest priced high performance car equipped with MR shocks (CTS-V, ZR1, 599) so it has a great compromise of ride and handling. My only gripe is that the Camaro should be 7/8 of its current size and weight. Nonetheless even an SS has incredible road presence, and I think that was the main goal, gaudiness aside.

I fell in love with the Mustang after the 2012 model year but I would take a ZL1 over a GT500

At the same time I don't get why people like the GT-R.... bloated, ugly, and only looks good from the rear or 3/4 angle.

There's just as much plastic plastered onto the GT-R as there on the ZL1. The effect is meant to make the car look smaller, but I think the ZL1 looks much better doing it.

I don't like Hennessey, but there are some things on this CTS-V coupe that I think are pretty awesome (like the wheel offsets)

CTS-V by Hennessey has 1200HP, 200mph standing mile target

I can't imagine how expensive this must be ... That's a full CF widebody kit from Hennessey. Plus 20s, plus the engine work.

Honestly, I'd take a stock CTS-V with that widebody kit and those wheels and be happy as a little girl

You can have that Hennessey CTS-V in coupe, sedan, or wagon form

I like it too - but for that money, it would go elsewhere. ALTHOUGH - I would consider buying one if I already had another Ferrari (or two) in the stable.

haha well the story he told me was he has an old accord or civic, forgot. But his car was really dirty and across the street was the same model/year accord but was nice and clean. But that dudes car was broken into.

edit: the other reason i also hate it, is because where i park is on top of a parking structure, top floor. So within a week its gonna be really dirty (i know thats more reason to take care of it to make the paint last) soo much work lol.

and here is the pic, at least i get a nice view haha

best way to not get your car broken into is to not have anything nice in plain sight... that includes outside and inside.
