For the foreseeable future, anything in that price bracket is out. Just doesn't make sense financially for us. The 640i xDrive though? Very possible. I'm still at least 3 years out from a new car though.

 

with the way 6 series is depreciating, you probably can do an even trade for a 6 series in less than 3 years.

just make sure to buy a good extended warranty.
