Was supposed to be at gR kickoff last year in LA, but I couldn't make it out in time. Ended up going to LA a week later
Was supposed to go to Dallas last year to see the cars at one of the stops. Got sick
Was supposed to go to Cleveland for the gR stop there this year on June 5, but my school ends on June 6

Generally, Ferraris are going to do something.
Remember when the Dino was a joke and no one really wanted one?
Now they're $350-400k cars.
As long as Ferrari doesn't make 50,000 Poopdicks, those things will be worth some major coin one day. Assuming the world doesn't collapse and we're all chasing each other around with sticks again.

I am sure RickTLS will correct me if needed.
That just means you need to pick up a 355 now Srika.
Been really looking into the RC a lot lately & I'm pretty much sold on it besides test driving it. So, since I don't need to place a deposit, I went ahead and asked to have my name jotted down to order one. Can't actually do anything more than that since the NX has to come first, so it'll probably still be a couple more months til they start putting orders together.

Re: 355 - a close friend has one, and I've driven it couple times. That is enough for me really. From the stories he's told me about maintenance, yeah, pass. How about $1600 for exhaust heat shields. Yes, these are pieces of thin metal.

Everything I've ever heard is that if you don't have Ferrari mechanics writing in the log books, it's a huge strike against the car.

Probably includes a free gallon-size container of KY. Per hour.
Anything the factory blesses generally brings in buyers.
Ferrari did introduce a 7-year free maintenance plan a couple years ago, but I have no idea what kind of details/clauses that allows.
I saw that, apparently that type of vehicle is "hot" somewhere? I was reading how the BMW X6 is doing well somewhere and that's why they are doing the X4? I would put the Gran Turismos in the similar category
Reddit has a hard-on for the new Z/28. Someone mentioned the HP/liter argument in a post, which I always found to be laughable. The only place that really matters is in motorsport. Luckily, people on reddit felt the same way. Rotary, pushrod, and turbo/SC engines completely skew the HP/liter discussion.
Forgot which track it was on, but they did a comparison between the GT-R with Track Package vs. a Z/28. That video was nuts! Couldn't believe how well the Camaro did. Next generation should be lighter and smaller.

I really want them to redo that when it's warm too.
Apparently, Mercedes is single-handedly to blame for the collapse of grey-market vehicles.

The Lamborghini Countach was one of the first grey market vehicles, and the Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz G-Class were initially available only through the grey market. Other vehicles that entered the US in small numbers via the grey market included the CX and Renault 5 Turbo. This avenue of vehicle availability was increasingly successful, especially in cases where the US model of a vehicle was less powerful and/or less well equipped than versions available in other markets. For example, Mercedes-Benz chose to offer only the lower-output 380SEL model in 1981 to Americans, some of whom wanted the much faster 500SEL available in the rest of the world. BMW had the same issue with their 745i Turbo. The grey market was successful enough that it ate significantly into the business of Mercedes-Benz of North America and their dealers. The corporation launched a successful million-dollar congressional lobbying effort to stop private importation of vehicles not officially intended for the U.S. market. An organisation called AICA (Automotive Importers Compliance Association) was formed by importers in California, Florida, New York, Texas, and elsewhere to counter some of these actions by Mercedes lobbyists, but the Motor Vehicle Safety Compliance Act was passed in 1988, effectively ending private import of grey-market vehicles to the United States. No evidence was presented that grey-import vehicles' safety performance differed significantly from that of US models, and there have been allegations of improper lobbying, but the issue has never been raised in court.
The grey market declined from 66,900 vehicles in 1985 to 300 vehicles in 1995.[5] It is no longer possible to import a non-US vehicle into the United States as a personal import, with four exceptions, none of which permits Americans to buy recent vehicles not officially available in the United States.

Trofeo R treadwear rating: 60

The Camaro is down on power, and heavier than the other two. But its tires are basically R compounds.

You know, I always figured it was the tires, but this really confirms it... Motor Trend does a comparison between the Z/28, 911 Turbo S, and GT-R Track Edition

Silverstone Full Merino Leather
Competition Package
Executive Package
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
BMW Carpeted Floor Mats
Total - $136,156.
How.I.Wish.

Great selection of stuff on there, love it. I need to stop getting graphic tees though... I'm not 18 anymore. But sometimes they look so good!
